About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Rudy’s is located in Findlay, Ohio, and specializes in 1976-1983 CJ-5s, CJ-7s and CJ-8s (scramblers). They sell both complete jeeps and parts.
According to the website, Rudy’s forte is “selling originally rot free, unpatched CJs for you to take to the next level or personalize or enjoy in it’s original glory as it sits. Our philospophy is that all the mechanicals can be easily resolved but it is only original metal once. We do not do any fiberglass Jeeps nor do we ever patch frames.”
Marc forwarded this unusual sign. This shows a nice bit of history. Knight created the first sleeve motor after becoming frustrated by the noisy motors of the day. There are a number of advantages and disadvantages. You can read more about the motor at Wikipedia.
“ORIGINAL 1958 JEEP CJ 5 WILLYS KAISER CANADA AD 4 WHEEL DRIVE TRUCK WINDSOR ONT. Original Ad measures 4.5″ x 5.5″ approximately. Ad is in very good condition. Original Ad not reproduction. We will combine shipping.”
“It was stored for the last 40 years in a garage and used sparingly to plow a long driveway. The short story is; This vehicle was 1 family owned from new and is totally unmolested, except for the plow. 62,000 original miles. Everything works including all gauges, (even gas gauge!). The originality is mind blowing with even the old rubber Willy’s floor mats and seat covers present, (albeit a bit worn). Vehicle starts right up, runs and stops, with the only issue a gummed up carburetor, due to today’s “corn gas”. Simple solution of cleaning and a carb kit. Runs now with choke partially on, smoothly. Vehicle is original gray paint with some primer over the worn areas. Frame is rock solid and all panels are original with very little rust and no bondo evident. An awesome truck to either rat rod as is, (with a bit of tinkering), or restore to a real head turner of great value. How many do you see at your local car shows? (More info on eBay)”

“Here is a brief run down on what is here. The frame is from a 46, the engine is from a military jeep (sear number xxxxxxx). The body was an early reproduction, additional taillight was installed and hole for aux trailer plug. It is very acuracy for a 46 with the exception of no matching numbers, frame, body, engine. Every part has been taken off and gone through. all gauges are new, also the speedometer. The parking lights are Corian, hard to find and in excellent condition. It has the original Spartan horn on the fire wall, new wiring harness, all electric parts were gone through. The carb was rebulit. It is painted the Pasture Green, tires and tubs are new, the rims are Kesley Hays.
If I had to try to get back the time and money put into this project it would very costly. This will make a nice jeep to drive around in and have fun, parades car shows etc. It comes with service manual, plate, clear title. owner’s manual. I have a top I am including with the sale. It is a Best Top I had on another jeep and is in very nice condition. There is a crack in the rear plastic that can be replaced. All the receipts’ and a running record of the money spent also come with.
the jeep drive very nice and the mileage you see is the actual on this rebuild.
