About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
It’s a project. I have great memories of Hayden in the summer.
“1948 Willys Jeep Cj2A for parts or restoration. I picked this up for a restoration project over 20 years ago and still haven’t gotten around to it. Someone else might as well have some fun with it.”
“Selling my 1944 jeep willys 4×4 327 small block chevy bored .030 over. Rancho suspension new 33″ tires on 15×10 wheels. Rebuilt transfer case geared low for crawling. Needs wiring finished for lights. Nylon gas tank mounted in rear. This thing is killer. Call txt email Jeremiah. Thanks for looking.”
“These rims came off a 1970’s Ford van with a wide five lug bolt pattern. They will fit other year Dodge/Ford trucks.vans.Ramchargers. The tires have good traction with some dry rot. Tire size is 31×10.50 R15 LT. I also found all the lug nuts. Measuraments are 5 1/2 center holes on five lug bolt pattern.”
Seller thinks this is a steal, but this is clearly a parts jeep. Of course, not used in WWII.
“1948 Willys Jeep running gear. Has everything but engine, grille and radiator. Comes with 2 sets of fenders, 2 hoods, and 2 windshields, and 2 sets of tires. All are original parts. The extra hood and set of fenders are from a 1943 Willys Jeep. All sheet metal needs repaired. The frame appears to be in good condition. These Jeeps are beautiful when restored and can go for big bucks! This is a steal! These Jeeps were the common vehicle used in WWII! Wanting $500 obo and will entertain any trades. Prefer texting and emails. Thanks!”
“Jeep is in parts. Frame has been restored. Engine/trans/transfer case are sitting on a moving dolly. Wheels are painted harvest tan with new non directional tires. Body is there but needs major work (the tub is a frankenstein of two jeeps). Extra parts come with the jeep include extra engine block, generator, springs (I think to a cj5), and whatever else is sitting with it. Needs someone to finish the restoration. Bill of sale only. $1600 OBO”
UPDATE: This is a CJ-5 listed as a CJ-3B. See reader comments below concerning this jeep.
“This a great deal for a very nice jeep. It is mainly all original and in great shape. Especially for being 58 years old. The body has very little rust and no dents or dings. It has been very well kept with only 21,965 miles on it. Please text or email your questions. More pics available upon request. Thanks and God Bless!”
Anyone know if this jeep is still there? This photo came from this page (though I removed the kids). The photo was take at Omaha Nebraska’s Henry Doorly Zoo.
