“THIS IS A TRUE 1948 WILLY’S-OVERLAND JEEPSTER. THIS VEHICLE HAS A ‘GO-DEVIL’ 4-CYLINDER ENGINE WITH A REBUILT CYLINDER-HEAD, A 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH OVERDRIVE AND A NEW CLUTCH. IT HAS A REBUILT STARTER. IT IS ALL THERE AND IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT NEEDS ‘TLC’. THE CANVAS TOP IS IN GOOD SHAPE. I HAVE THE ‘SIDE CURTAINS’ BUT THEY COULD STAND TO BE REDONE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12-VOLT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN INDOORS ALL OF IT’S LIFE. WHEN I FOUND IT, IT WAS SITTING ON BLOCKS AND ENGINE WAS DISASSEMBLED. IT NOW RUNS AND DRIVES. (05/17/2014) It appears pretty solid.
“This jeep was under construction for installing a V8 engine. No radiator, no engine included. Not butchered up, not bad rust wise. No title, sold as is with a bill of sale. If you are wanting to put it back with the 4 cylinder engine, I have some available for purchase separately.
