About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1961 CJ-6 Jeep. The Jeep is in very good condition given its a 1961! It drives very well and I’ve never had mechanical issues. The speedometer and gas gauge do not work. I currently have the gas tank sitting in the back so it’ll eventually need to be mounted underneath the car…I just haven’t had the time to address the aforementioned items. The Jeep has absolutely no rust!!!”
“Bought this for a project but have not found time to work on it so time for a new owner.
Has a Chevrolt V6 and automatic transmission. Will run and move but the wiring is a
nightmare! Interior was done in wood sometime in the past, hippy van style.
I had intention of changing to a small block V8 motor and doing the body over
but here it is. Asking $2800 not really looking for trades, I have to many projects already!
But if you have a trade offer you can run it by me, you never know! ”
No perfectly stock, but looks in good condition. The serial number is 18936, but appears to be missing indents. I can’t tell if it has a column shift or not either.
“This item for auction is a rare Willys CJ2A Jeep. This is a “VEC” (“Very Early Civilian”) model as it was produced almost immediately after World War II. The VECs share many parts with the legendary 1941 to 1945 Jeeps and is just as indestructible.
I bought this in August as something to tool around in and take out to the desert. Due to health concerns, I’m no longer able to drive it.
The Jeep starts, runs, steers, stops rides etc very well. The motor fires right up and once warmed up, it has an idle as quiet as a sewing machine. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, the clutch works great and I just redid the front and rear brakes. The front floor pans were patched in the last few years and are very solid. If you look underneath, you can see where it was repaired. There’s no major body rust and the frame is straight. I replaced the front bumper too.
The Jeep is currently registered though March and has a clear title. It is exempt from onerous emission control regulations.”
(10/26/2012) This needs a transfer case and has an auto tranny.
“1959 Willys FC 170 pick up truck. One of 2,474 manufactured. 7000 lbs gross weight. Buick V6 engine. Automatic transmission. Needs transfer case. All parts are available. $4,500.”
I found this interesting photo on MiliBlog (http://miliblog.co.uk/?m=201102). It has some great details. The caption read “General Slim Driving a Jeep with Mountbatten”
There can’t be too many of these around. I like it!
“This was bought at the Willys show in Jefferson City, MO in the ninties I just never found the right lamp to put it on. Has a tear (see picture) not very noticable and it has a few stains, maybe from moisture, some more noticable than others”

“You are getting a pretty rare piece of memorabilia from Willys Jeep. This clip is advertising a couple of the Willys war time vehicles and changes design depending on how you look at it. In good shape, measure aprox 2 3/8 by 1 3/4 inches. Please look at the pics as they are a huge part of the description. Thanks for looking!”
There were a few different people looking for replacement seat covers like these.
“e are offering a restoration quality canvas front seat cushion set for your MB/GPW. This set includes the back and bottom for one seat along with the mounting hardware. This is a direct high density foam rubber replacement for the original spring and padding. These are produced by our canvas division and made from military specification canvas. The picture is an example of the seat only and the seat frame shown in the picture is not included.”
The wagon looks nice. With some body work the truck might look good, too.
