1961 Willys Jeep CJ-5 $3,500 Irwin, PA

Not a huge lift on the price but will need some stuff.

Information from seller:

Here we have a 1961 Willy’s jeep. It’s got a 327 out of a 67 vette in it with a nice cam. 3 speed with an overdrive unit as well corvette steering column and Camaro steering box. It’s on at least 6 inches of lift via springs. Sits on 35×12.50 tires. It’s not perfect the body has been plated and so have the floors at one time. It technically runs drives and stops but needs a rear driveshaft and exhaust put on. I have a soft top and doors for it. Super cool old jeep just don’t care to do anything with it. I will trade for Harley’s or other older cars.

New Information from Seller: 1962 Willys solid truck

Original Post from 5/11/2025 >

Listed as a 1962, looks to be a later ’62 may have had the 230_OHC in it, so this would have the better cross over steering, and man they drive nice when sorted. Tornado has been removed, but overall the rig looks neat, PTO winch.

1949 Willys Jeepster No Reserve Auction Owls Head ME

UPDATE SOLD $6,325.00

So what I thought was just a one off Truck up for Auction turned in to a pretty neat series of posts.

This is part of the same New England Auto Auction that benefits the Owls Head Transportation Museum.

Information from seller:

This 1949 Willys Jeepster is offered with no reserve! The Jeepster was built from 1948-1950 by Willys with the intention of bridging the gap between the utilitarian Jeep and the more conventional automotive market. Industrial designer Brooks Stevens styled a line of postwar vehicles for Willys, including the Jeepster – a two-door open car that he envisioned as a sports  car for veterans of World War II. This Jeepster is powered by the well-proven 134.2 cu in (2.2 L) straight-4 “Go Devil” engine and a column-shifted three speed manual transmission which make it a lot of fun to drive.

This Jeepster was used seasonally on Cape Cod for years, until being put into indoor storage about a decade ago due to the previous owner’s declining health. It has recently been thoroughly serviced to bring it back to driving condition. Work completed includes flushing fuel system, oil change, new points, new plugs, new battery, new alternator, new whitewall tires, new water pump, new brake master cylinder and replacing all brake wheel cylinders and shoes, machining the drums.

Cosmetically it shows plenty of signs of its 76 years which give it a great patina and character but it is incredibly solid and is a fantastic driver. This Jeepster is ready for a new owner to take it to the next level or just enjoy it as-is – the choice is yours!

Sold with a title.

1962 Willys Truck No Reserve Auction Ends 8-21-2025 Owls Head, ME SOLD $4,025

1962 Willys Truck No Reserve Auction Ends 8-21-2025 Owls Head, ME

UPDATE> SOLD $4,025

This is a neat truck, proceeds benefit the Owls Head Transportation Museum per the listing. It also is showing zero fee, but as always do your homework, but it looks like a neat Auction!!!

A few things stand out on this one to me the Cab is much earlier to me then 1962, it has the small back window, under seat tool boxes, but the circle holes across the top by the visor really set this apart to be an earlier Cab for sure.

It’s not uncommon to see this mix and match of parts. From the few pictures they adapted a large 0-9 in the dash, door hands and the sort look more 1962, has a one piece front windshield, and it has the later cable heater controls, so it’s a tried and true Willys Salad. I would love to add something like this to the collection someone is going to get a great Willys here.

Information from seller:

Being sold with no reserve and a registration, this 1962 Willys Jeep 4×4 is a classic yard truck that runs and drives, with functioning 4×4. It is being sold as a project and is not ready for road use. This Jeep presents as a fairly solid example that, while currently used as a yard vehicle, could be a great candidate for restoration in the right hands.

The truck features a Warn Overdrive, Dana 60 rear end, and a heavy spring pack, ensuring it has the rugged durability expected from a Willys. The frame is solid, which bodes well for future restoration efforts.

Recently donated to the Owls Head Transportation Museum, all proceeds from this sale will directly support the museums continued growth, expansion, and educational programming. Heres your chance to own a piece of Jeep history while contributing to a great cause.

Reduced Price.

8-28-2025 This really is a great looking CJ. Still up for grabs, if you are in the market please consider taking a look at this one.

Original owner and just WOW this is a really nice CJ-5 has many years of care put into this one. New fiberglass tub and front clip installed over the years along with many common areas recently addressed. The half cab is really great.

V6, Overdrive, Half Cab, Spot Light, it has a lot a really neat features. The rear waterproof deck lid is nice.

Sent over via email if you have any questions please reach out.

Information from seller:

For Sale from Original Owner- 1967 CJ5 Kaiser Jeep- $18,500 or Best Offer

Original owner offers for sale his 1967 CJ 5 225 cu in V6 Kaiser JEEP. The jeep has been maintained regularly. The jeep has the original wheel rims and original steering ball joints which shows the long term care given to the jeep.

About 15 years ago, a body off rebuild occurred. A fiberglass body with one piece front end replaced the original deteriorating metal body. The frame was painted with epoxy paint, transmission and transfer case were cleaned, checked and resealed, new wiring harness installed, new brake lines, shoes, and drums installed and a stainless-steel exhaust system with side pipes installed. Many other repairs were made to keep the jeep in excellent condition.

More recently, a new clutch, pressure plate, and aluminum radiator were installed.

This jeep is a very unique vehicle with a vintage period correct Meyers half cab, vintage period correct spotlight mounted on cab roof, Saturn overdriverear waterproof lid over rear compartment and some other minor items. Also, the interior has a high back bench seat mounted on a frame mounted seat roll bar! The seat is very comfortable and better than the original seats. An additional heater has been installed which keeps the cab toasty in cold weather!

The V6 is strong running. As pre-maintenance, the fuel pump, spark plugs, and electronic ignition system were installed. Over the years, I did not spare any expense to keep my jeep in great shape.

I purchased this Jeep when I was 16 years old and feel reluctant to depart with it, but time has come in my life to enjoy the memories.

For those jeep connoisseurs, yes, the vehicle has those typical transmission/ transfer case gear lube drips. This low geared vehicle always starts and runs like a champ.

Owner is looking for a buyer that will provide the jeep with a good home!

If interested, please text at 570 449-4239 for more information or schedule an inspection. Must see to appreciate!
