Apparently, Snoopy can be a little frisky sometimes!

Fun day today! We met some great people and had a beautiful drive through the Sonoma and Napa areas.

We drove from Santa Rosa to Sacramento on Monday.

The morning began with a trip down to Tree Line Teardrop Trailers in Petaluma where we met Tom and Paty Perkins. You can also find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TreelineTeardrops.

Tom had contacted me a few months ago about finding a flat fender. He’d explained that the first vehicle he’d driven was his dad’s CJ-2A. So, he was interested in finding another one. As we exchanged emails, I learned he was building teardrop trailers. Fascinated by them, we agreed that Ann and I would stop by during our trip.

Paty and Tom quickly made us feel at home as they showed us the two different trailers in their driveway, one an off road version and one a lightweight (700lb) road cruiser that was being picked up by the new owner that day. One look at both of the trailers and it is easy to see how well made they are. This reflects Tom’s background in construction and finish work. Both Ann and I were very impressed, from the quality of the workmanship and materials, to the choices in stove top (high quality, sturdy, high btu burners) and portable fridge (ARB). Each trailer is built to order by Tom.

Perhaps the best selling point was how easy it was for Ann to climb inside. The doorways are wide and even with Ann’s bad knee and brace, she had no problem slipping inside. So sold is Ann, that she’s reviewing each trailer option as I type this.

Thanks to Tom and Paty for sharing the trailers, the bees, the chickens and more!

1942 Slat Grille MB Mesa, CO **Sold**

• CATEGORIES: MB • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **Sold** Was $4000.

“I have an unrestored 1942 Military Early Flat grill Willy’s (MB) for sale. The first 25,000 MB’s had these flat steel grills. It wears a cosmetic restoration with many decent parts on the jeep and is a nice 25 footer, but is not a restored vehicle. Good original 1942 MB restorable body. Will need correct floors and other items to make a fully functional original World War Two MB. It is complete, the engine is free and looks like making it run should be not a major effort, I bought it to swap out the GPW Ford parts on it, for my GPW. I did replace with 1942 Willy’s MB parts where needed. I will provide a notarized “bill of sale”, I bought last fall and do not intend on restoring this vehicle, I have my hands full with my other jeeps and my small ranch. It is as restorable jeep, but does need TLC. I am currently eliminating many of my project cars I will never finish. I have other vehicles for sale. These are current just taken pictures, please ignore that date on the pictures.”

1950 CJ-3A Evergreen, CO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8900

Looks solid.

“This is a real head-turner. 1950 Willy’s Jeep, restored “original correct” — all original stock, no major mods. True Colorado vehicle that spent most of its life in Glenwood Springs, CO, before relocating to Evergreen, CO. The engine has not been rebuilt (just body & upholstery resto – including back seat) but it starts easy, runs clean and does not burn oil. Perfect for cruising around town on date night, but don’t plan any long trips on I-70 unless you are towing it, or retired. Odometer reads 62,149. Clean title, and everything works except the gas gauge. Soft top & tow bar included. Always garaged since restoration.
Local buyers with cash only. Thanks for looking.”
