1946 CJ-2A Hudson, WI **SOLD**

UPDATE: Was $900. **SOLD**

Has column shift. Might be some parts value here.

” am selling my 1946 Jeep CJ2A project. I just don’t see myself having enough time to dedicate to this project right now. This is the first CJ (Civilian Jeep) produced after WWII and has a lot of the same parts as the military version but has some interesting differences. It has a “three on the tree”, a lever actuated transfer dual range transfer case, and a power take off (PTO). I started disassembling the vehicle for rebuilding so it is pretty much in parts now. It is mostly complete. The body is rough but rebuildable. All of the important parts with the Willy’s logo are in very decent condition and are worth more than I’m asking. The floor boards under the seats are gone. A lot of these vehicles have been parted out but I’m hoping this one will have a chance to run again. The engine has a small crack which, acording to my machine shop can be welded and the engine rebuilt. The engine was not seized and so most of the parts are reuseable except that it probably will need oversized pistons. The copper radiator alone is worth around $300. The frame has been welded on by a previous owner that installed some sort of a plow on it. This would be a great project for the guy who likes this sort of thing.”

1942 MB Wimberley, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: MB This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $995. Was restored for 2014 Memorial Day weekend and now in Jeep Plant in Toledo.

“1942 Willys jeep, WWII veteran, MB/M-38 project. 6 cylinder F6-161 Hurricane engine, 90 hp, Dana transmission, transfer case, and rear end (all turn freely). Engine is complete but DOES NOT RUN. Has tow bar for 2″ ball, spare tire, all seats present but no cushions, olive drab color, 2 part windshield
Corrosion on body pans but frame is solid. No data plates found but paperwork in glove box indicated a 1942 model military classic, last registered in Texas 1979. No title! Was found and purchased from junk dealer Wimberley, Tx. I will provide a bill of sale. This project will take a true serious restorer that can do body and engine work. However, you can’t beat the price for this old veteran. $995.”

1948 CJ-2A Bremerton, WA $2500

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Given the winch, this might be a good price if the engine spins.

“1948 Willys CJ2A flat fender Jeep, stock engine and transmission, Dana 27 front and Dana 44 rear 5:38 gears, upgraded GM steering box and steering linkage, Jeep J3000 big brakes, 34/9.5/15 Super Swampers in near new condition, full cage with complete wrap around rear passengers and side gussets, Warn winch. . . It has been sitting in the garage for 11 years, it will start but probably will need the fuel tank cleaned out. The passenger side windshield is broken and the top is not in the best of shape. Too many hobbies have left this sitting, time for someone to use it again. Sorry for the pictures but it is packed in the garage.
Any questions or more pictures email or text 360-nine nine zero-9547”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000

This has a few updates.

“I have a 1949 willys jeep. I picked it up a couple of years ago to have a jeep. It had the Buick 225 odd fire v6 in it. It also has a t-90 transmission with an overdrive unit on it. It has a 4-barrel eldebrock carborator on it with the automatic choke. It has 10 miles on the new motor. This is a project jeep. It does start and move under its own power but still needs some small stuff that needs to be done. It has a clean title. I’m asking $5000 obo or will trade for a camp trailer. I will send pics on request.

Sunday’s trip to Santa Rosa

On Saturday, we’d planned to visit downtown San Francisco some more. However, after hearing that officials were warning that the city was extra busy and that driving downtown was going to be crazy, we chose to take a quick trip into the city to get Ann’s mother something and return to the housetop spend more time with my friend Jack.

Today after visiting with Ann’s cousin and her family, we drove north to Santa Rosa. Except for narrowly avoided some jerk who almost hit us, the drive was pretty nice. We landed in Santa Rosa and were surprised to see Peanuts Character Statutes along some of the city’s streets. We didn’t have much time to explore the city as much was closed Sunday.

Ann’s selfie with Lucy

A little research informed us that Santa Rosa is home to the Shulz Museum. We’ll be exploring that tomorrow after meeting with Treeline Teardrop Trailers in Petaluma. We have a couple additional stops before we head to Sacramento on Monday evening.
