About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
There looks like some value here. The tailgate shouldn’t be stamped jeep though.
“No frills, just a nice reliable vehicle that was used for hunting every year. Has waterproof ignition, 2 extra wheels, jeep stamped on tailgate, was licensed by CO Nat Guard in ’53. After being parked for some time, would need fuel system cleaned out, but ran like a top when parked.”
“This is an original military Jeep from the Korean war years. Excellent condition, fun to drive! This is the real deal!
I’ve been putting the final touches on cleaning up this Jeep, which the pictures will demonstrate is in great condition.
I purchased the vehicle from a family in Waukesha, Wisconsin that used it for a family drives. Vehicle was owned by a collector in Minnesota prior to that, and by another in Wisconsin before him. Purchaser will get all information I have on the vehicle, but I’m only as far back as 1992.
The Jeep comes with the axe, shovel, radio and power supply, 1” manilla bumper rope, canvas, seat belts, and ORIGINAL 1952 M38A1 Operator’s Manual, as would have been with the vehicle in a military motor pool. Vehicle is still the original 24volt electric system.
I hope that someone else can enjoy this vehicle as much as I do. I highly recommend getting one (like this) that is already restored, because if you try to buy one of these 5-9k ones, you will end up putting a ton of money into it.”

(08/25/2012) Lots of diamond plating. The work on the fender looks pretty good for diamond plating.
“1946, Willys CJ2A. Hand built body, Runs good, 3 speed with optional overdrive seperate shifter. Newer Best top soft top. New bikkini top. 12 volt conversion, electric fuel pump. Rear mounted fuel cell 12.5 gallons. Good Tires, aprox 80 percent. New Solex carb installed. New heater, still in the box. New rear main, still in the box. I have driven it to and from the office several times and put several miles on it. The engine is out of a 54 model Willys. It turns heads everywhere I go. You won’t be disapointed. The price is firm. I have checked all over and I have seen alot of CJ’s for a lot more money that aren’t even close to its condition. I am only selling because I am moving out of state to Oregon. Please contact me if you are interested. This price is firm and it won’t last very long. I can be reached from 9:00 am – 7:30 pm Monday through Saturday. I am out of state and won’t be back to Oklahoma until September 3. Sorry for any inconvenience. I’m not able to show or sale it until then. I have a clear title for cash.
Thanks,
This year’s Bantam Jeep Festival will be held in Butler, Pennsylvania. This works out well for Ann and I, because we’ll be out that way beginning in mid May and had planned to be in Buffalo June 8th. So, a trip to Butler should work perfect!
