This is a fascinating photo was taken in Louisiana.

The eBay title for this reads “Army Photographers Document Arctic Smurf UFO Crash”. However, no description was provided to explain that odd title.

1965? CJ-5 Stamford, CT **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
Eric spotted this CJ-5 with a crazy paint job. I’m not certain this has as title. It runs, but has a fuel leak.
“I would like to start with saying that I am not all that familiar with the jeep so I can not give a ton of details, but will give as much as I can (it was taken as part of a law suit, and I can not guarantee accuracy). In general the jeep appears to be in great shape with no apparent rust or dents. We were told the body was replaced a little ways back (I can not confirm it, but from the condition it seems way too good to be original). The paint is in very good shape, but may not appeal to all (with the exception of a troop of clowns). The car runs, but it does have a fuel leak (seems to be a fairly simple fix). I have not driven it since there are no plates or registration (as well as the fuel leak), so I can not comment on the ride. It appears to be the original Buick V6 engine with headers added. There is a plow set up installed, but we do not have the blade. We were unable to locate the VIN, but we believe it is a 65 (can not guarantee the year). Car is being sold as is. Firm at $3500. (no trades or paypal)”

1957? CJ-3A Chubbuck, ID For Trade
Listed as a ’57, I don’t see anything to suggest it is a DJ-3A.
“1957 willys jeep 4×4. Awesome piece of history. These things were built well. Made to military standards. Motor has been rebuilt and runs great. Trans shifts good. 4×4 hi and low works well. This would be a cool jeep for a swap or restore project or drive it as is.
Interested in a good tig welder. 4×4 rigs. 4×4 four wheelers or anything of real value that interests me. Just ask.”

1942 GPW San Pedro, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $55,000
I thought this looked like a good price, until I realize there were 3 zeros behind the ’55’. The bumper appears incorrect. The seller notes it has been used in films.
“This is a 1942 Ford GPW Military Jeep. Serial #’s on frame reflect the manufacturing date as well as the title. It is in excellent condition and Runs exceptionally. The seats are torn, but can be replaced with after market parts. It has a willy’s 4 cylinder engine that purrs like a kitten. It has the original 3 speed manual transmission and the transfer case (3 granny low gears) works well also. It even has the front wheel engage/disengage shifter. All guages, anti-aircraft lights, gun racks, first aid kit, spare tire, etc, are all still installed and work. The only thing not original are the new 11″ brakes. I swapped the 9″ for the 11″ because this is something that I wanted to drive around town, and the smaller/old style brakes wouldn’t cut it. I still have the original brakes to give to you if you ever want it perfectly restored. This is a one of a kind Vehicle. It has been used in many films also, so there is financial gain if you choose to put it out for time period movies and tv. Email me for questions.”
