About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This might be a replacement body, as I don’t see a battery box lid.

Tires and wheel have been sold already, so it may be sitting on blocks?
“This is whats left of a 1948 Willys Jeep Model CJ2A. It runs (with a jump) as well as shift, all gears, high & low, front axle in & out. It has no brakes. The body is in very poor condition although the windsheild frame is salvagable. I put a rebuild carburator and head gasket on it to get it running. It has no tags, therefore, no papers. Unless you’re really motivated,”
“I am reluctantly selling this beautiful military piece of history. This is a Willys MB Jeep manufactured on February 6, 1943. The previous owner had it frame-off restored with all new or restored parts. He had the engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials new or replaced. It has the original body with no rust and new paint. The accessories include lube chart (1944), gas can (1945), grease gun, fire extinguisher, oil squirt can, hand crank, and tire pump. It has a brand new master cylinder, wheel cylinder kits (4), and new shoes on all wheels. It has a new top with bows. It has an original Federal siren and all black out lights. It has a relatively new battery purchased from NAPA (12 volt) on 11-14-2010. It is still in warranty. It has brand new rubber molding around the windshield and windshield frame. It has five authentic combat wheels (not reproductions) and one new tube. The tires were replaced and new by previous owner. It has an aged manila tow rope with woven eye-knot ends wrapped on front bumper. A Jeep Technical Manual TM9-803 is included. This is a show quality restored jeep with a clear TEXAS title. This 69 year old piece of military history is ready to start and drive in your neighborhood or in a parade.”
Glenn spotted this one. The paint is funky. The body looks good, best as I can see from the strange paint job. However, for only 8200 miles the engine compartment looks pretty filthy.
“1962 Willys Jeep. 8200 original miles! 4 Speed with working snow plow. Very little rust. I have owned since 1988 and prior to that it was stored in warehouse in NYC. $4900. No papers.”

Other information
This classic war jeep was rebuilt from the frame up in both Texas and at the highly respected Northland Diesel in Bellingham, Washington. The engine was worked from the crankshaft up, and the transmission, transfer case, and differentials were likewise inspected and rebuilt as required. Items include a new wiring harness, tires on combat wheels, rebuilt carburetor, new seats and paint. In fact every item put back into service with this classic vehicle has been inspected and brought to standard. The owner’s intention was to have this vehicle look and perform like the day it was issued back in 1944. Receipts are available.
This vehicle has well over $28,000.00 invested in purchase and restoration, and is truly a showroom classic.
Also available and reasonably priced are an all-weather top, sides, and rigid doors from Beachwood Canvas (new @ $1350.00in original box), a set of five new road wheels on combat rims (cost new $1370.00) and other original equipment.”
