Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is a device I’ve never seen. When a vehicle is stuck it brakes the spinning wheel, forcing the non-spinning wheel to spin (and hopefully) un-sticks the vehicle.

“L 226, side shift T 90 Transmission, and Dana 18 transfer case from an FC -170. The engine turned over when pulled. Comes with stock transmission shift linkages, driveshafts, and hard to find shifter for an FC.”
This may have been a neat rig back in the day. It’s got no engine, but does have an OD.
