About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1957 fc150 on modified 1981 corvette frame. Little to no rust, most metal work done. Have new windshield and rear glass. Doors repaired new floor pan. No engine or trans. Have stock dash. All reasonable offers considered. Willing consider to trade for farm quad +cash”
“1967 Jeep CJ-6 with Perkins diesel engine. All original and minimal rust compared to most CJ’s of this vintage. Very rare Perkins diesel engine runs but will need rebuild. It will run but smokes excessively and is low on power. Injection pump and injectors have been rebuilt. Production numbers suggest that less than 600 CJ-6’s were built with the Perkins engine. The body and floors have rust in all of the typical locations but is not a total rust bucket. Please be familiar with the rarity of this Jeep before you criticize the asking price. Clear Pennsylvania title included. All low ball offers will be ignored.”
“Dana 41 axle for 1947 CJ2A, 10-spline with tapered shaft. This is a Dana 41 axle for a CJ2A Jeep. The housing and axle tubes are in excellent condition. It has a relatively new ring and pinion along with pinion bearing and seal. The axle shafts are 10-spline with tapered ends for the hubs. I put new bearings on the shafts, but slots for the long woodruff key that holds the hub on is gouged out and would need repaired or replaced. Includes an extra long-side axle drive shaft that mate”

The sellers of this are getting some evaluations of the powertrain before deciding upon a price. But, they posted it on Facebook. I’m not sure where it is located either.
Listed as a 1948, this has a column shifter. Looking at the interior pic of the left side, this might have had indents that were filled in. Unclear how much value is here given the engine issue and body rust.
“I have a 1948 Jeep Willy CJ2A The engine will need to be rebuilt and atleast one tire replaced. The front floor board has several rust spots. There is no windshield. This is definitely a project Jeep”
“Rough shape, potential project! Have title which is huge with these old Jeeps. Unfortunately not the original engine, but fortunately it has a 5.8 liter motor from an 80s ford! Hit me up with questions!”
