This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Is the trailer half bantam and half m-100?
“Willys CJ2A very restorable, nearly all original, driven every day. Has pintle hookup for trailer as well as original ball hitch mount w/ ball. Trailer is 1942 Bantam 1/4 ton T-3, M 100. Would like to sell as set, but will seperate.”

The front has been extended for some reason. The desert dogs appear in reasonable shape. The rear wheel well looks modified.
“1946 Willlys Jeep. 383 Corvette Engine. Headers. Adapted to the Willys transmission but has rebuilt turbo 400 short tail with B & M shift kit. All new custom built tub. 4 Goodyear Wranglers. Built to race but never raced.”

“This is an old 1953 Willys military Jeep that belongs to a friend of mine in rural Owyhee County. He has been driving this around his place for several years, but now has too many other vehicles. He has no way to this show this to anyone out where he lives, so his had me bring it to town, and list it on Craig’s list. There are some spare parts that go with it including an extra grill, a starter, generator, 2 extra engines, and some extra wheels. The tires are close to new condition, and as a new carburetor on it. It has a four-cylinder F head engine that runs well. It certainly needs to be rewired to drive on the roads. The engine has few miles on it since being overhauled. It came out of a similar Jeep that had been rolled and totaled. It’s a long way from being a creampuff, however, these old military jeeps are getting very hard to find. This is in good condition, and worth restoring.”
