About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Hi and thank you for looking at my auction. I am helping my father list his Willys jeep as he isn’t computer savy, not that I am either:)
He has a 1955 CJ5 Willys jeep. It has a Best Top soft top and doors. Overhead valve engine. Came from a farm in Illinois before my father bought it. Drives out well. Has been sitting in the shed on the farm here for a few years. Starts and runs well. Carburetor might need a rebuild again. I rebuilt it a fews years back but this wonderful ethanol fuel ruins the rubber diphram in this carb. Paint is fair, not flashy but not going to slide off in a fast turn either. Body is nice and not a rust bucket. I can take pics of the floors and inside and under the body. Was always a red Willys. First year of this “new” body style.
Any questions please ask. Always welcome to come and look and drive it. We will help with shipping and can haul or drive it towards you if that helps. Is and has always been inside since my father purchased it and can stay here if needed as long is it is paid for or prior agreement made to do so. Willing to help just ask before the end of the sale! Title is free and clear, no liens or loans on it.
This is a nice old running and driving jeep. It is almost 60 years old and lived it’s life on a farm. It has a super solid body and runs out great and handles like a nice old truck. It does have dings and dents that have been fixed, the paint is as old as I am (35 years), there are chips in the paint and some scatches. It is a super fun go and get a malt type of dependable old vehicle.
This is a $6500.00 jeep not a restored $12,000.00 one so if that is what you want this is not the truck for you. Please come and look at it before you bid or ask questions about with more than a day left, please. It can be driven and I encourage people interested to do just that.”
(12/19/2011) This was a column shift, but now a floor shift. I can’t tell if this has the free floating hubs or not.
“Lost storage. The tub is restored but paint is peeling on back floor. Have CJ2A engine that has been pulled but needs a rebuild. No cracks in engine. Frame blasted and painted w/ new wiring harness. Needs completion. I have a NY title in my name. I’ve moved to VA and am selling house in NY. Can’t bring everything. The tub alone is worth the price. I have more pictures. Jeep stored at buddies house off Rte 84 near Danbury. I can nolonger store it there.
It was a column shift jeep but was converted to floor shift. Bought from friend and I stored it inside. It has to go asap. Please email me back w/ your ph number. ”
(02/17/2011) This appears to be a painted version of this rig, which was for sale back in 2009.

“Up for sale is a 1964 Jeep FC-150 truck. Only 30,000 made, from ’57 to ’64. This was the last year this vehicle was offered to the general public. 3 speed transmission, full time 4wd. Both high and low range. Originally made for farm/utility use, has a power takeoff pulley for a belt and also for a chain. Bed on this vehicle is not original. Maximum road speed is around 50-55 mph. Steering is tight, goes down the highway good. Has won many awards at various car shows and is definetly an attention getter. Speedometer stopped at around 30k miles, actual mileage unknown. Vehicle was purchased from a farmer that used it on his farm. Original color appears to be red, vehicle has been repainted yellow at some time in the past. Clutch is good, all gears work good, mechanically in good shape. Has 6 gallon gas tank mounted on bed. Gets very good mileage.
Vehicle has never been in a collision that we know of. Vehicle is licensed and is road ready. Low reserve for this vehicle. Delivery available up to 100 mi.”
Steve dropped me a note and shared some pictures of his jeeps. Both the flattie and the CJ-7 look great! If you need any help driving them, just let me know 🙂
He writes, “The blue one is a 1978 CJ7 and the Willys is a 1948 CJ2A. I’ve had the CJ7 for 27 years and got the Willys from my dad last year. The Willys has been in the family for 50 years, most of it spent with my late Grandfather in California. When I got the Willys from my dad, it was in rough shape, and I spent about a year fixing it up. I really enjoy driving both, and the Willys gets a lot of attention.”
