UPDATE: Here’s a version that starts at $19.99 on eBay (ends Friday 10am PST)
The story is straightforward: “By taking gardening jobs, catching bats and thieves, diving for bricks in a swimming pool, and inciting the interest of some helpful friends, a young boy makes his daydream of owning a jeep come true.”

Ted’s got a few FJ items for sale:
1) 1962 FJ-3A Booklet
“Up for auction is a very nice, original Willys Motors Chassis and Body Parts list for the Jeep FJ 3A Fleet van. This is NOT A REPRODUCTION. It has a copyright of 1962 and form number of W1141. I’m guessing it’s a first edition as it is not marked otherwise. The list has complete Willys original part numbers for every part covered, making this a very essential piece of Willys literature to anyone restoring or doing a project on one of the rarer Jeep models, the FJ3A Fleetvan.
Overall the condition is very good to excellent. The outer covers show the usual wear of something 50+ years old, with no major damage. The inner pages are all intact, with no staining or damage, and I would consider them to be in excellent condition.”
