About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

For $6,495 I could buy a very nice real jeep, though I’d get in trouble for driving it on a golf course.

This is rare truck. Learn more about it over at the FCConnection where pictures of the vehicle pre-restoration, during restoration and post-restoration can be seen: http://thefcconnection.com/dan_devries_1964_m-677.htm
This looks pretty stock. It looks like it would restore pretty well.
“I have for sale a 1951 willys M38 Flatfender jeep. For sale is one of the most rare flatfender jeeps made, it is a true M38 military version, not a CJ title says M38. I believe they only made these for 2 years and it was the last of the flatfendered body style. This one has a very solid body with very minor and easy to fix rust, runs great, has a 4 cyl and 4 speed trans out of a later military jeep. has the original military axles with 5.38 gears. new guages (tach, volts, fuel, engine temp, oil pressure) mounted in the factory location. Has a rattle can OD green paint job, mile marker front lockout hubs, 235/85/16 tires but have a set of original military tires that go with it. Also have a metal top/cab that is available seperately. motor starts on the first crank but air/fuel ratio needs adjusted but runs good overall, needs a rear wheel cylinder but before that blew the brakes were strong. really a nice rare jeep for the money, would make a good restorer. please txt 712-263-zero-three-five-seven or reply to the ad with any questions. Thanks for looking. price is firm I dont need to sell it just want more room ”
Description: Boxed balsawood kit of a Jeep. Box obverse is illustrated in two colours with a PT boat and a jeep with the legend ‘MODEL CRAFT’. The sides are illustrated with patrol craft and trucks, accompanied by the legend ‘Manufactured by Model Aircrafts 1 Bond St Sydney’. Reverse is printed in red and blue with a listing of the other model kits available. Contents consist of a thin printed balsa sheet and smaller plain sheet and six long stringers, all wrapped in the plans for the kit. The instructions are damaged.
Summary: Little is known of Model Aircrafts Ltd. A Sydney-based company established in 1928 and operating from premises at 1 Bond St, Sydney, they manufactured a series of boxed balsawood aircraft, truck and ship kits. The evidence of their production is based on their wartime output, which is imaginative and extensive – and includes contemporary subjects such as the Mitsubishi Zero and the Hawker Hurricane – but extremely basic and evidently restricted by Australia’s wartime austerity drive and materials rationing. Thus, wartime contents for aircraft frequently provide merely a simple block of balsa and a 2.5 cm square of sandpaper with instructions to ‘shape fuselage according to the illustration’. Wartime plans are often signed ‘J Mercer’.
