About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

It seems the weather gods are attempting to thwart our nice, though quick, tour of Manhattan. For the moment we are hanging out in the Trump Tower Starbucks. I’m sipping some hot chocolate and Ann is enjoying some kind of coffee mixture. Hopefully, the rain will let up soon for the remainder of our trek to my great aunt’s, where we will spend the night and share pictures.
No updates tonight. Probably none until Thursday evening late. Here we are in Times Square.
We have almost reached the eastern most point of our trip, Madison, Ct. We are almost at the 3700 mile mark. In fact, we are just about out of land, so I guess that means it is time to turn around and head east again. I still have reports to file about my visit with Terry, Andy, and Wallis, so stay tuned for more updates. Here are a few random pictures from the past few days:
On Saturday, in between cruising a few stores at the Eastview Mall in PIttsford, NY, and riding the carousel, I spotted this Christmas ready flattie at their toy store.
I had never ridden a two story carousel, so I Ann and I hopped aboard for a ride and a picture.
“The Auction is in Etters, PA just off I-83 south of Harrisburg and north of York. There’s more than 50 oldies to pick from including two DJ’s. In the picture it shows a DJ3A on the left and a LHD DJ5 on the right. Looks like the DJ3A shown in pix 35 and 36 has many usable part. Emailing the auction company got nothing back, so I’m assuming they expect it all to go for junk. Hopefully someone local can snatch them. No Titles, just be prepared to move ’em quickly says the instructions.”

“1947 Willys Jeep 4 cylinder Dark Green It will crank and run. Was being driven regularly 3 years ago, but has been sitting for a little while. Ready for restoring. Need to sell. Asking $1800 or best reasonable offer. Jeep can be seen in Monroe, GA. Call Holly at 404-819-5841”
“Jeep is old, but runs and drives great. New brakes, the clutch and transmission are in great shape. 4-wheel drive. Everything on it is stock. 4-cylinder engine runs great. Tires are Specialty Tires of America 7.00-15LT. No leaks from engine or transmission.
This has a working front and rear PTO with front winch. The PTO works in forward or reverse. The front & rear PTO with axles are worth $2,000 alone.
Only minor rust, mostly from chipped paint, etc. There are no places where it is rusted through. Floors are solid. More photos available.
Clear title. Since this jeep is still mostly stock it would make a great restoring project. Jeep is located in Lakeland, Florida.
