This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4800.
The sides of this are a little rough.
” On basis of www.oldcarsreport.com (August 2012) in “good” condition.
• A drivable vehicle needing no work to be functional
• Haven’t used 4 wheel drive, only 2 wheel drive.
• Previous owner added roll-bar, good military tires (only about 2,500 miles in last 7 years), headlights and turn signals, and bucket seats.
• Present owner had generator rebuilt; starts great.
• Driven May — November; stored inside during winter
• Needs a new speedometer (works at low speed)”

(03/01/2013) This doesn’t run at the moment, but it could be a minor issue.
“I am looking to sell our 1943 WWII Army Jeep. Before we owned it, it belonged to my Grandfather. He was a Captain in the US Army during WWII, and in later years purchased the same year military jeep that he used during the war, and had it restored. It was in good running condition up until the time he passed away. We have owned it now for 5 years. It is not running at this time, but I believe that it is from sitting the past few years. It has been garage kept. We also have the original manuals for the jeep. This has been a very hard decision for us to make, so ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES will be considered.”

This is a project.
“1953 willy’s 3B high hood. If you ever wanted to build jeep here’s your chance, it has Dana 44 high pinion differentials, I have a T-18 transmission with a Dana 300 transfer case, ford 351W, I have a motor mount kit from advance adapters, a painless wiring kit, brand new best top, window seal/ molding it comes with an extra fuel tank in the back where the back seat goes, tail gate that has willy’s on it, and a front grill that has willy’s on it too. I have a radiator as well. Drivelines etc… 8274 warn winch, Will separate. Call if your interested.”

(04/22/2013) This has had some floor board work.
“All mechanicals rebuilt. Original body with rusted panels replaced. Pretty much stock except for 12 volt conversion, solex carburetor, 15 inch wheels and CJ3A windsheild. Lots of parts”
Bob reports they’ve been running this Jeep Train in Galveston, TX, since 1951. I tried to find some old photos or articles, but didn’t have any luck.
