Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 Jeep, 225 Cu In 1966 Jeep/Buick V6,3 speed trans with All range Overdrive, 6000 Lb Electric Winch, Upgraded Brakes, 2 fuel tanks 10 gal each, Radio, Heater, Electric Wiper, Swingaway tire carrier, 3 seat belts in front, Roll Bar, Rear seat, Turn signals with 4 way, and Aluminum Hardtop. Set up with 6 ft snowplow operated by the winch. 2 sets heavy duty mud and ice tire chains. Clear title and all systems operate and runs well. Will sell with or without plow.”

“Jeep frame off restore of the 1943 only got as far as the frame off, looking for interested individuals, divorce forces sale. Most parts are included, it needs little dodads like knobs and canvas. The Jeep ran when I drove it off of the tractor trailer that delivered it from Kansas, and once it was in the garage I got it down to the frame and sandblasted the frame partially and did some welding on the tub. The major parts I disposed of due to them being from a later version jeep are the windshield, seats, gas tank, and wheels and tires. The transfer case is from a GPW Ford version of the same period.
