About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Just gauging response to this. On the fence about getting rid of it. Need brakes, radiator, and last valve is stuck open. Needs freed up and should be fine. New wiring harness, starter rebuilt, new shocks, new fuel lines, all original.”
“1/4 ton Willy’s jeep M38A1 Needs interior finishing, canvas and partial fuel system works. Runs good Has cut out windshield, for gun ***Been converted to 12v electrical system”
“1965 CJ5. Has been sitting in a shed since the 80s. It does not run but I can’t see it taking much work to get it running. Body is very usable. Front floors have some old patches but its not in terrible shape. Rear floor is in good shape. Toolbox under the seat is decent just has typical hat channel rust. Nicest untouched original dash I have ever seen, not a single extra hole has been drilled. Still has original seats with whats left of the original fabric. Frame looks solid no holes or major rot. Rear springs have some broken leafs so they will need to be replaced. Fiberglass top is in great shape. Doors are rough on the bottom but can be fixed. Excellent candidate for restoration or get it running/driving and enjoy it just the way it is. $2800. Sold with a bill of sale only. Located in Connecticut”
“$3500 firm need gone need the space 1959 Willy pickup 6-226 Hurricane Truck runs good and drives but currently has NO brakes. “1947 Willys jeep non running, timing belt got stripped motor needs new belt put on and retimed other than that it was a Sunday stroller vehicle. “1947 willys jeep CJ2A project or parts rig. No title.. It’s a mix of 45 through 47. The head is a 1945 Ford GPW. I took this in as a partial trade. #4 cylinder has a hole in it. Still worth saving IMO. Trans and tcase are there. Some of the engine stuff is missing. No seats. Thats how I got it. Axles and frame are in great shape. Tub needs some work but also worth saving. No title. Not parting and not separating. Ive found something else I would rather put my time and effort in to. They look great with the 1/4 ton trailers behind them or slammed into a rat rod. You could go in any direction with this.. Delivery available for a fee. 1500.00 or trade for IH, jeep or Squarebody vehicles or part”
“1947 Willy’s CJ2a For parts or restoration. Body is in rough condition could use repair or replacement but chassis and drivetrain are complete. Engine needing rebuild has been removed and is sitting in my shed. Full rear PTO turns freely, shifter works fine.”
