This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/04/2013) The bed has been diamond plated.
“’46 Willys Jeep, stock engine has been rebuilt, rebuilt tranny and transfer, good tires. Converted to 12volt, and electric fuel pump, tow hitch kit on front with jack, receiver hitch in rear. Some rust…bed has been covered with aluminum diamond plate. Runs and shifts great!!!”

(04/14/2013) It’s rough, but it runs.
“1953 WILLYS JEEP. Rebuilt motor runs good. Frame and running gear good shape. This is the first year of the F-head engine so it is a high hood. Jeep does need some work, body has some patching and some more is needed . Some floor work would be needed as well as some brake work ( have brake parts ). No papers sold with bill of sale. 1500.00 FIRM….. inquires leave phone number or i will not respond… Thank you.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
“Good running jeep, original pto winch, 4cylinder, 3speed, locking hubs, 4×4 works good, nice sonding stereo, good tires, steel hard top and doors. Body was sandblasted to metal, primed and painted, did no metal work, body needs some work but looks pretty good. Price is negotiable. 660-676-7929. I have a lot of pics i can send by phone. Thanks”
