This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1900
There’s no engine.
“Looking to sell my Jeep CJ-10a Tug project.
Rare find with extremely low miles. Tub is in great condition with NO rot.
No engine or transmission.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was priced at $2500.
The body needs work and it is running off a temporary tank in the back.
“Willys CJ3B High hood Jeep. This jeep has some trail rash and rust, but it is still pretty solid. The engine runs great, the four wheel drive works great, and the breaks work (brand new Master Cyl.) It would make a perfect trail jeep or a good solid place to start a resteration. I have the title in hand. First come, first serve! It will sell fast at $2,500 OBO Trailer not included or for sale.”

Among other things, it looks like this was lengthened.
“1947 CJ3 SAND DRAG BODY ALL STEEL WITH ROLL CAGE. INCLUDES THE FIBERGLASS FRONT CLIP. IN GOOD CONDITION, READY FOR FABRICATION! $1900 OBO”

It’s rough.
“I have clear clear missouri title in my name in my hand. This willeys has the original drive tran less the engine and trans. It was replaced with a small block chevy and a 4 speed. The engine does not run and you can asume it is locked up and will need to be replaced. I gave up on this jeep many years ago, but today found the Title, so let’s see if anyone would like to get this back on the roads. All the sheet metel is there except the tailgate. The frame has been modified becouse of rust in the front section.”

(12/26/2012) The seller lists this a s a 1946, so it could be a collection of parts.
“This is a 1956 Willys CJ3B. I have just installed a new carb and fuel pump. It does run and idle smoothly, but the plug wires, cap, etc need to be addressed.
Drivetrain: The drivetrain is complete and the transmission, transfer case, and axles are operational. The clutch does need adjustment.
Body: The body has some rust but would be a great project to repair while you use it. Almost all of the sheetmetal that needs repair is flat sheet, so only basic skills would be necessary to repair. I have two different hard tops and one set of doors. I am unsure of the manufacturer.
Brakes: The master cylinder has water in it, so the brakes will need to be gone through
Suspension: The front springs are sagging.
If you want this shipped you will need to arrange your own carrier. I have a loading dock available if needed and the Willys can be driven onto a trailer. There are no titles for vehicles this old in Alabama. It will come with a bill of sale only. NO TITLE! The Bronco buckets are not included and the top of the fuel tank needs repair.”

(01/28/2013) This appears to have a mix of parts.
“WWII Jeep Willy M-38 jeep for sale. Title says 1941 as the age, but may be older. I have 2 motors for it! Motor removed for rebuilding. It is a l-head. I also have an f-head . Several other jeep parts for sale- too many to list. Getting out of the jeep rebuild idea! Call for a list of parts. Will sell parts separately or everything for $3400 OBO”

“1951 m38 wills engine is a 4134 l head trans 3 speed t90. Trans case 2 speed dana 18. Front axle Dana 25. Rear axle Dana 44. Is running but needs oil lines. 4×4 works. New parts to go with the jeep”
