Marc spotted this photo that was sold on eBay yesterday. What’s interesting is that the there’s a CJ-3B followed by a M-38A1. I wasn’t aware they lined up jeeps at the assembly plant like that.
Postcard of Imogene Pass and Postcard
Here’s a neat postcard from the 60s(?).
“Colorado Postcard of Colorado Rockies Jeep Road – Photo by William A. Sanborn. These roads wind between Ouray and Telluride. Measures approximately 6″ x 4″. Has scalloped edging. Card is slightly bowed and corners are dinged (see pics.).”
Photo of WW2 Jeep with Wood Hardtop on eBay
Here’s an interesting photo. That looks like a home wooden hardtop. I can’t tell what the letters on the front of the windshield spell.
“Photo size is 4.5×2.75″ inches”
1960 West Yellowstone Postcard with 3 Jeeps on eBay
The jeeps aren’t really big, but there appears to be a flattie, a CJ-5 and a wagon or truck.
“WEST YELLOWSTONE, MONTANA — Circa. 1960 Street view with Chevy and Jeep autos parked in front of a STANDARD OIL Co. Gas Station. Chevron, Conoco, and Texaco gas station signs can be seen in the view. The card is unused — very good+ condition. It’s a dandy view for your automobile/gas station post card collection.”

“THIS WELL MAINTAINED AND REBUILT JEEP IS A WWII VINTAGE JEEP
THAT WAS BUILT BY WILLY’S ON DEC 23, 1942. SERIAL # OF JEEP IS 197749.
THE JEEP HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY SINCE THE 1970’S.
THE ENGINE IS THE ORIGINAL 4 CYLINDER REBUILT BY WILLAMETTE PARTS
IN EUGENE. THE MAINS ARE .020 AND THROWS ARE .030. THE STEERING BOX,
TRANSMISSION, BRAKES ARE ALL REBUILT. A NEW TOP WAS PUT ON AT
THAT TIME AND JEEP PAINTED. HAS ALWAYS BEEN INSIDE AND COVERED

1946 CJ-2A Pittsburg, NH **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
It’s a project. That could be a Bobcat Fiberglass body.
“This is a 1946 Willy’s CJ2-A. frame is solid has been re-enforced. Fiberglass tub and fenders. Medal hood and grille. Have a truck load of parts that go with this jeep. Started as a project three years ago and haven’t touched it in a while. Motor ran good when I started working on it. Has a ton of new parts. All new brakes, lines master and wheel cylinders. Many many parts go with this jeep including two engine blocks cranks and two spare transmissions. It has chrome wheels and radial tires. Also have all four original jeep wheels in great shape. Asking $1,500 for EVERYTHING come take it all. Lot more invested.”
