1948 Jeepster Fenton, MO **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Jeep Rods, Jeepster • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay

“Finished in yellow and blue, this Jeepster was restored and painted with PPG two stage paint, applied by John Johnson, then topped off with beautiful hand-painted graphics and pinstriping, done by Pete “Hot Dog” Finlan of Monster Garage fame. The paint is absolutely incredible, showing no imperfections and shining like the day it was finished! The customization didn’t stop at the paint job … this Jeepster has shaved suicide doors and a shaved power trunk! The front end of the Jeepster is all tube style with coil-overs and the rear end is a bulletproof Ford 9” 31 Spline. Not only was this rig made to turn heads, it was made to actually drive! 1947 CJ-2A Fortescue, MO $4500

This has an unusual look.

“This is an awesome 1947 Willy’s jeep. Old School mud – rock crawler . was told that back in the day, it won several trophies and was in at least one of the peterson’s publications. this has two tops. it does have a hood with hood scoop that is not in the pictures. This is just a big toy. not something that you will want to drive every day of the year, but could be. it has a “cammed up” 289 out of an older mustang. 4 speed trans with a hard to find transfer case that also has 2 wheel low. this will go 70 mph down the road easily. I have had it over 90 mph racing my wife home. I won, LOL. it has 35″ tires that are in good shape. this has a full roll cage and a full tubed frame. it has tons of power and runs awesome although it does have some blow bye and will use some oil. I think that the bottom end is bullet proof. it could use some body work and paint, but is a blast to drive as is. this was used as daily transportation to and from work by the previous owner ,and is a very dependable jeep. it also needs a fan shroud or an electric fan with shroud. it will drive around town all day long without getting warm, but if you drive 60 – 70 mph for over 10 miles ,it will start getting hot and you have to slow down. it has never got hot enough to boil over because I watch the gauge and drive accordingly. fan shroud would fix it. THIS IS NOT a beginners vehicle. it drives good, but as with any short framed jeep with alot of power , it can get out of control easily.

it’s amazing how much attention this draws. very loapy idle. sounds like a race car.

4500.00 firm or wha-cha-got to trade? I am interested in a lot of things. so if you have something for trade, just run it by me. I might be interested. Might also trade for rat rod or pre 80’s camaro – firebird – trans am or ???

Th350/dana18/OD Woodland, WA **SOLD**

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $950.

This combo might be a good price.

“I’m selling a Dana 18 and TH350 Transmission out a 1954 Jeep Willys CJ3B project. Both pieces were supposedly rebuilt and installed prior to my purchasing and taking over the project. The Dana 18 has a Warn overdrive, both drive shaft yokes,, new torque convertor. and two crossmembers for mounting. I decided to go with a manual transmission set up and will no longer be needing the Dana 18 or TH350.”

1946 CJ-2A Dallas, TX **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2850.

This body has been patched extensively.

“1948 Willys Jeep. Nice running, rebuilt 4cyl. Ford Pinto engine conversion. Original transmission, 4WD transfer case, front/rear diff., axles and front locking hubs are in good working order. The ignition and electrical systems have been upgraded from the original 6-volt to 12-volt. Good battery. Body and sheet metal are solid and straight with flat Army green paint. The previous owner installed non-original seats which are in poor condition. However, I managed to find and buy 2 original seat frames which just need to have covers installed, which is fortunately both easy and inexpensive to do with Willys Jeep seats. Wheels are original and in good shape. 3 of the tires are correct military tread and the other is an all-terrain/snow type tread. All 4 tires have light/medium wear.

I was in the process of replacing the entire brake system when my health declined, leaving me physically unable to continue just before I was finished with the brakes. New brake lines have been installed throughout, along with new wheel cylinders and a rebuilt master cylinder. I had the drums turned/machined along with all new brake shoes. I also had the new brake shoes machined, contoured and matched to each drum for a precise, concentric fit at a top-notch specialty brake shop (This is an old trick that costs a little more but significantly improves drum brake performance…with the added benefit of a more responsive and lighter feeling brake pedal). The shoes and hardware are included but have not been installed. Windshield glass is unblemished and clear.

The Jeep has a Texas title but is currently not registered or inspected. This Jeep is elligible for Antique registration which, if the buyer elects to do so, is exempt from state inspection. But once the brake shoes are installed it should have no problem passing inspection. This is a good old Jeep and will give someone many years, miles, and smiles…”
