About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Project vehicle, does not run $1500 OBO Had it as a project but don’t have to time or money to work on it No title only bill of sale Unsure of exact age, previous owners say it is a 1950”
Listed as a 1960, this has the fenders and grille of a 1952 or early 1953. It also appears to have a USMC rear bumper. There appears to be parts value here at the very least.
“~1960’s Military Jeep. M38A1. Good drive train. 6 cylinder engine – probably froze. No time- too many projects. No title- Bill of sale only. Selling for my friend. Boy if I had the know how to restore this bad boy I’d be all over it! $1100 obo”
“Custom built 48 willys, dana 40 and 60 running gear with a fuel injected 4.3 chevy v6 and a turbo 400 trans with the jeep OG transfer case. Has OG jeep winch. has 4 blue tooth speakes for music. All lit up ready for trails. Has 5 point harnesses as well. And comes with blue ox tow bar”
Has a Koenig hardtop. Unclear how much value is here.
“Does not run, driveline went out several years ago and has been parked since then. Clean title. If this listing is up it is still available, I will remove it when sold.”
This is the first I’ve seen of these Kaiser Willys Sales Promotor bulletins, though it is unclear how many bulletins are provided. The ebay ad includes pics of the cover, a foreword, and issues number 1 and number 3. I’ve added additional ones found on the web at the bottom. I don’t think there is a whole lot of jeep info (seems more car oriented), but still interesting.
Apparently, these KW Sales promoters is a carry over from Kaiser Frazier, which also had a similar program. A CD of the KF promoters can be found here: http://circlekf.com/KFNut/forsale/sp.html
“Runs like a rabbit and has great bones. New brake system, clutch system, drive train and bearings. $2500 worth its ready to roll. I drive daily.Everything works, all lights, amp,Oil pressure and water temperature gauges. Has great pressure and runs cool. Has a 1964 AMC 196 Six Cylinder. When installed they put in a Great Heater. Has fold down bumber to carry trail bike or 4 guys hanging on to grab bar on roof. Front bumber set up for easy towing also. Has new tires. Is a great hunting rig but new bride hates it. So would consider a trade for a enclosed quad with heat.”
