Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “WOODS BUGGIE ON 1957 JEEP WILLY BASE SWAMP TIRES RUNS AND DRIVES,NO TITLE 2900$”
The engine runs.
“Selling a cj2a that’s between 1946-48 with a homemade tub and a 1948 2a complete body. The replacement body is original, has vin, with the correct tub, windshield, good front end and hood. Has floorboard and hat channel rot under the driver and passenger. Rear floor solid. Has the top’s bow pocket brackets except for one. Lots of extra parts between these two bodies. Will not separate, must take the whole lot. The jeep with the motor will fire up, sounded pretty good, but it has no gas tank and a busted radiator, so we couldn’t keep it running long. It has all the running gear, though the brakes aren’t working. Have two sets of gauges and headlight buckets. No title. Both hoods stamped Willys. Both windshields stamped Willys. Toolbox under seat has correct Jeep script. Both dashes in good shape. Tailgate on replacement body has Willys stamp. 15 inch wheels. New plug wires, new radiator hoses, new oil lines for filter, new filter bracket, electronic ignition conversion kit, loaded calipers and hoses for front disc conversion.”

There is, however, a little writing on the box, other than that it’s absolutely perfect! I purchased this at Tractor Supply Company and know that I paid well over $120. I went online to try and find some others that were for sale and could only find ONE in Maryland. So, it may just be that these aren’t that easy to find anymore.
