Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Last month when I share pictures of my ‘jeep’ shirt that horrified my wife, Steve sent me a variety of pictures showing his jeep shirt collection.
1) My most “busy” Jeep shirt. It actually has several types of 4×4 on it, including Scouts and Broncos. This has to come in a close second place to, “OMG, are you really going to wear that in public?”
2) Here is my favorite FC Roundup Shirt, because it has an FC Wrecker on it. I don’t own a wrecker (yet), but I came close to owning one.

(08/23/2012) This might not be a bad price. One of these looks in pretty good shape.
“Very rare Jeep, 4×4 or 2×4, Austin Champ, 24Volts, everything water proof, four independent wheels heavy duty, 4 cylinder in line Rolls Royce. I have two ready to be restore, unfortunately I have no place and time to work on it. Both are in great shape, both engines are free, and one of them did runs.”

This Austin Champ is rough.
“I have a austin champ. Very rare vehicle, only 15000 made total
They were made in the uk so there is only a handfull in the us
It has a rolls royce 4 cyl mk2
And a 5 speed transmission
5 forward gears and 5 reverse gears, goes same speed in reverse as driving
This is a pretty rough unit, but does have great potential
It has flat tires
Does not run but motor is free, it has a 24v system
Has gun holsters, shovel bracket, pick ax bracket
You wont find to many of these around here
Not in any hurry to sell, the value is going up daily on this item
Restored ones can bring up to 50k”

This might be a pretty stock jeep.
“My husband recently passed away of cancer and I need to sell this this 1948 Willy’s Jeep ASAP. I am asking 2500.00 OBO. It does great plowing snow as well as grading roads and making them smooth. It does burn a little oil If you are interested in taking this little jeep home”

The passenger fender needs some paint and this might tilt to the driver’s side, but otherwise this looks solid.

No windshield frame. Might be a good project.
“1951 or 1952 willys jeep m38 real army jeep. This jeep is all disassembled . The guy i bought it from sandblasted and painted the frame . The frame is very solid no rust or rot. The body is partially sandblasted and it needs some patch panels. I have the original motor (seized) and another that runs. This is a project but it is pretty much all there. It is missing the windshield frame. $1000.00 Delivery can be an option ”
