About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1952 Willys M38 Jeep – complete for restoration. The Jeep runs strong needs carb rebuilt brake cylinders, No Rust in floors or body very solid. This has a Ramsey PTO winch on the front.
Changed to 12v.
Fairly firm on price may consider some trade for hunting stuff quality g’s or Quality Model Trains??
“Runs drives and looks great. 4 cylinder. Good tires, soft top in good shape, clean, no dents. New front hubs and bearings, new front brake drums, new rear brake lines, new front and rear wheel cylinders, new master brake cylinder, Carb kit just done. Came stock with 9″ brakes they have been changed to 11″ New temp and volt meter”
This looks solid, but the front bumper sticks out unusually far. I wonder how those front frame rails are holding up.
“1949 WILLYS CJ2A JEEP, SERIAL NUMBER CJ2A-21584, with overdrive, no rust, all three original seat frames with new covers, original 4 cylinder engine with high output 12 volt starter, 12 volt alternator, holds 50 to 60 lbs. oil pressure at warm idle, 12 volt electrics, turn signal lights, front seat belts, horn button on floor, 12 volt electric Heavy Duty 8000 pound Ramsey winch with new cable and controller, all gauges work, new dual master cylinder giving separate front and rear brakes, transmission/transfercase was rebuilt with super quiet gears, five original 16 inch wheels balanced with like new Michelin recapped mud and snow tires, spare tire is on a rack that is held in a receiver tube, heavy duty front bumper, front tow bar (1-7/8 ball) is removable.
It is ready for the highway or off road trails, that winch should pull it up a tree, transmission/transfercase shifts smooth, quiet and does not jump out of second. 4 wheel drive works great, smooth and quiet.
It’s not perfect, minor scratches and dings, the tailgate is cracked where the spare tire mount was before it was installed in a receiver tube, it is titled (clear), tagged and insured, come and drive it around and see for yourself.”
“Have a pair of jeep willys. They were made by ford, gpw, but same as jeep willys. One has a title. My plan was to restore them using, but we have no time. It will be a big project, there is plenty rust and body work will need to happen. I have loads of extra parts, leaf springs, axles, carberators, axle housing, generators, steering column, water pump, buckets of bolts, odd pieces, think even a transfer case, and maybe transmission; enough parts to fill a pickup bed. Jeeps ran when parked, stil on 6 volt system. Have been covered along with parts. Were used in Kona on a coffee farm since sold to civilian. I bought them 2 or 3 years ago. Then wife decided to have me build a home and start farming. Just no time. Would be a great project. Check out the value thes hold once restored…crazy prices. Just need to get rid of them. They are not driveable, will need trailer. I have trailer but not much available time”
