Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
No mention as to whether it runs or not, but it looks solid. It may have been a DJ-3A convertible at some point, but the drain holes and the rear gas hole would have been patched, so I can’t say for sure.

Looks in great shape, but there are some detail issues. Just a few here: I can’t spot any evidence of frame gussets at the front; the driver’s indents are missing. and it is floor shift.

The rear bumperettes and gas tank filler suggest this was a DJ-3A prior to the fiberglass body and other changes.

“1948 Jeep Willy’s cj2a. It has a title. Runs and drives. Has a fuel injected 4.3 Chevy vortec v6 engine and turbo 350 automatic transmission. Front axle has been converted to disc brakes. Selling as is, it needs a few items such as front drive shaft. Could be a great project Jeep.”
