This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1953 Willys Jeep Pickup. Great Shape. 283 Chevy motor. Not running (no papers). Asking $2500.00 or best offer.”
This has a Massachusetts title, as explained by the seller.
“1942 Ford GPW. It is GPW 57395. Jeep was re-bodied in the mid 90’s. Jeep has NO RUST. Frame is good, has original seats. Engine is WWII engine, Trans is the original T84, still 6 volt. Runs good, Brakes are good. Has soft top with doors. I bought this jeep and planned to bring it to MA but I found one in MA that I bought, thus making this one available. Jeep will have a clean MA title.”

(10/12/2012) This looks good, except for the area near the passenger side fender. It may just be an optical illusion, but it looks kind of odd.
“Sold my storage building…no place to keep it. 1948 (it’s actually a 1947) Willys Jeep. Five new tires. Engine completely overhauled. Runs great! Converted to 12V. email for details and to set up appointment to see it. May consider trades for antique things that go bang. The color of the first two pictures is correct…the third picture is in direct sunlight.”
