The outside of this looks nice.  The engine has been updated, as have the seats.

“Restored 1946 Willys Jeep with the following features:Engine:- Complete rebuild at 46,251 miles (only 12,000 miles on the rebuild)- New rings, bearings, valves and lifters.- New fuel pump.- New water pump.- New thermostat.- New spark plugs and wires- New belts and hoses- A additional rebuilt engine block is included- New carburetor.Body:- Excellent condition with a baby blue paint job.Transmission:- Current transmission works but the syncro rings and reverse idler gear are worn. But a newly rebuilt transmission is included in the price.- New Clutch, Pressure plate and Throwout bearing.- Transfer Case – completely rebuilt with tapered roller bearings instead of the stock needle bearings.- New front and rear Drivelines.- Front and Rear Differentials rebuilt with new seals.- New Front and Rear (inner and outer) wheel bearings.Brake System:- New Wheel Cylinders front and rear.- Rebuilt Master Cylinder.- New Brake Shoes front and rear- New Brake Drums front and rear.- New Shoes on the Parking Brake.- New Parking Brake Cable.Electrical:- Converted to a 12 volt electrical system at the time of engine rebuild.- New Bulbs in all devices.- All gauges except speedometer are new.- New Windshield wiper motor.- Heater motor does not work.Misc.:- New Power Takeoff gear box included.- New Distributer included – 6 New oil filters included.- 2 New air filters included.- Vinyl soft top included but widows are yellow and it needs some work”

I never did find the gas filler for this.  Maybe it is in the rear passenger side?

This runs and drives.  It also has a m-38 body.

“Hey there , I’m selling my CJ-2A Project Jeep that i’m probably never going to get around to doing. It’s a ’46 , pretty much all original running gear (Flat head 4cyl., T90, model 18, etc.) It runs and drives but definately needs some work. It has been converted to 12Volt so it turns over nicely but it does need to have a basic ignition switch installed and lights , etc. The body isn’t bad for an old Willys, it does have it’s share of small dings and dents along with the standard issue Bondo but not much rust at all so it’s fairly solid. 4X4 works good and it does have some really decent old style 7.00 x 16 traction tires on it. I have a clear Washington title for it. Asking $950.00 Please call , email or text if you have any questions. ”

“COMPLETELY RESTORED WILLYS CJ-2A

Complete Frame Off Restoration. Every piece of this Willys has been removed, rebuilt, resealed, repainted and reinstalled with period correct parts. Everything is restored to period correct original condition with the exception of a 12 volt alternator and 12 volt lights. This Willys has the original factory installed PTO in perfect working condition. You won’t find many of these! New seats, gas tank, tires, exhaust system, gauges, steering wheel, windshield, mirrors, tires, etc. The body is completely rust free and has been powder coated “Desert Tan” at a professional paint and body shop. Lots of photos available upon request.

I am willing to trade for any of the following (must be in good, road ready condition):

(09/17/2012) The engine runs, but the jeep needs help.  I’m gonna guess that the roll bar is just sitting that way and not actually mounted that way.

“I am selling my project Jeep. It is a 1949 Willys CJ2A, with a Boss 302, Chevy axles and 35” tires. Engine Runs and I need the money to pay other bills. I would be willing to trade for a running Jeep, either old or newer. I am asking 800 OBO because I know that the core alone is worth 500.
