About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The serial number indicates this is a 1950 CJ-3A. It’s unclear why the title lists it as a 1946. This has a Sears-branded Deluxe hardtop and EasyLok hubs.
“CJ3A – 48114- which by numbers is a 53 yet title says 46. Restore started – frame has been POR, engine was gone through. Body very solid. The tool box top is gone and this is worst corroded part of floor. Has heater and all trans/transfer case are there inside the cab. L 134 engine. Steering box is shot. Tub has a repair to outer panel under passenger door you can see some rivets in the pic. Hardtop is all aluminum the brown material you see is old insulation falling off. Some Floor panels I can Facetime video for a real full inspection.
Possibly delivery/ meet half way. If you have a Jeep/Willys I would consider some trade towards a 65-69 Jeep.
I also can offer possibly delivery or a half way meet up for a reasonable price.
More pictures available on request.
Clean open Kansas title.”
“If your looking at this add most likely you know a bit about these old jeeps and maybe even a bit about the Bantam trailer that goes with.
The Jeep runs but the transmission won’t go into gear, however it does roll so it’s not stuck in gear. It seems mostly original albeit some repairs done over the last 75 years. It needs attention at every point so it’s a good candidate for a restore I think. I’ve got a green title for it.
The trailer is an old Bantam with some repairs over the last 70+ years, new tires it appears but not title. Can issue a bill of sale if needed.
I’m keen to sell both as a combination but am willing to separate if one desires and the terms are agreeable.
If add is up I’ve got it, I’m wary of scammers.”
“Two 1947 Jeep Willy’s
Frame and drivetrain complete on one
Second with body is missing engine parts

Hardtop, rear window, doors”
“Willys Jeep, CJ2A, L134, 4 Cyl Flathead Engine, all Original, very sturdy, rust in parts but very restorable… I just don’t have the money to finish it… Right now I have the engine out, trying to Rebuild it.. It needs to get on the road again. Asking 4200.00, Jesse”
Bill spotted this rare CJ-5/Camper for sell. It’s listed as a 1966, but that seems to be an error given the large grille lights, which made their appearance in 1969, as did the camper.
“Super rare jeep camper, original, needs engine and restoration, great project for someone who wants to rebuild and maybe make a tiny home that disconnects from the jeep”
This 1975 tri-fold brochure from San Juan Scenic Jeep Tours out of Ouray, Colorado, doesn’t show and FC Tour Jeeps, but it does have a wide photo that includes a Wagon Tour Jeep. Below the brochure is the front and back of a Scenic Jeep Tour postcard that features a wagon.
A few different people shared this jeep sign highlighting Roy Evan’s connection with the town of Bartow, Georgia. I didn’t know about the sign when we were in Georgia in 2018. We weren’t too far from it on our trip.
“Custom 1946 Willys Jeep. Dana 44 front axle with air locker, Dana 66 rear end with air locker, power steering, automatic, GM 350 blue printed and balanced, front and rear disk brakes, compressor, Warn winch, CB. Comes set up with a tow bar and plug for pulling behind an RV or truck. Comes with soft doors and soft top.”
