This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1954 Willys CJ3B in great condition, runs excellent, 4 wheel drive works. The gages are not working. This jeep is registered as an antique. Title in hand, no trades.”

(04/30/2012) This needs work and a bed.
“62 Jeep FC 170 with a 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed trans. Has a Dana 44 in the front and a Dana 53 in the rear. Its loaded with rear P.T.O., front hydraulics, snow blower mount, and heater. Windshield glass is in good condition, glass in both doors though are cracked.”

This truck has no engine, but includes some other parts. This might make an interesting project.
“1958 Willys Jeep 4X4 Pick-up. Excellent body, AZ truck, no engine. I have owned this truck since 1978 it has front spring shackle reversal, suspension professionally done by Randy Ellis Design Phoenix, AZ, has Canyon Crawler bumper, Saginaw steering and tilt wheel. I have a 1997 Dodge Dakota V8, NV 3500, 5 speed tranmission and transfer case, and all engine wiring are included with truck, selling due to illness.”

“For sale is my vintage fc-170 weasel. This truck runs good and will go anywhere. Ive spent alot of money to make this truck dependable. New parts are starter, gm alt, gauges, steering cyl, exhaust, battery,. It starts and runs great. Tracks are in good shape and someone added chain to them to make them stronger. Motor is a studabaker 6 cyl. lights work. The bottom needs plugs where they were cut as to let it drain. T90 trans. Reserve is low compared to cheap side by side. When this hits mud park you get standing cheers. buy today play tomarrow.”

This could have been purchased for $7000 on Craigslist, but the seller worded the ad title oddly (and the ad didn’t show up until this evening when I did some odd searching combos). Now it’s on ebay and it has already hit $6744.
