Marty gave me a heads up about this barrel racing event at the Cowlitz County Fairgrounds. He’ll be racing with the racer he just purchased. Good luck!
These two photos are a part of a package of photos.
” Group of nine photographs of American Airlines stewardesses date from 1943 and 1944. The lot consists of a 7 x 9″ photograph, six 3 1/2 x 5″ photographs and two 3 1/4 x 4 1/2″ snapshots. The top photograph is signed Frances Howley and dated June, 1943, on the reverse. The large photograph is dated 3 – 8 – 44 on the reverse. There is no identification on the backs of the remaining photos. An early Willys Jeep is seen in two of the photographs, most likely taken in front of an American Airlines terminal.
The overall condition of the lot is good. Only the large photograph is damaged, with a tear at the top, right corner as shown in the scan. The smaller photographs are in very good, clean condition. The large photograph is shown actual size in the scan. The smaller photographs are shown enlarged.”

” hi – i am officially putting this neat 4×4 jeep pickup truck up for sale as my back is too injured to continue the restoration work.
this is a very rare 1965 model truck which was the very last of thses willys / jeep fc trucks built and were also the best built examples from the factory.
this truck is a rust-free project vehicle from southern california originally and comes with many great parts and is the ideal fc truck to restore and all of the hard to find specialty parts are present plus i am including some extras.
it is not currently running or driving ….. it is a project vehicle ——-
location of truck…… i live in dallas texas w zip code 75234 for your transporting estimates and most of the extra parts are also here with it.
if youre interested ,
please read on and i will get more specific about the truck – feel free to call me w questions and/or email me for additional pictures including pictures that show the truck before i started working on it and when it was outside so you can see the whole overall look of the jeep as its now in my garage and i couldnt find help to push it all of the way outside for these pictures.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $2800
A reader contacted me after investigating this FJ. Supposedly this is all fixed up, runs great, and looks beautiful. The only things missing are the VIN, the pink slip and the title. Eventually, after the reader noted that, the seller offered to halve the price.
Does anyone recognize this vehicle? Could it be a little hot? Or, maybe the seller was just desperate to sell it.
BTW, if anyone knows of any FJs in California, let me know. I have a potential buyer.
Mark just listed this nice example of a Wagon installed on a Cherokee Chief Chassis. Looks great! Many more pics here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2451568/1955-willys-wagon/page-2

“46 willys parts jeep. no title, for parts only. many good parts on this rig. I’m sure I could get more if I wanted to take the time to part out, and sell piece by piece, but I have had this thing for 12yrs and just want it gone. with the jeep come 2 soft doors, and 4 decent wheels. I have the glass for the winshield, but not the gaskets that go with them. price is firm, but part trade for the right item is a possibility.”
