Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. There’s a neat drawing of a dealership on the back of this program. The Schotts owned a Willys Dealership (more than 1?). This is the same Schotts that would eventually own the Cincinnati Reds. There are a few items from their dealership still around, including this altoy jeepster and this ashtray plate.
I spotted this ad with some unusual tires. Anyone ever seen these?

“Looking to trade my 1946 Willys Jeep for a 90’s Toyota extra cab 4×4 truck.
Jeep has original 4.3 motor, runs great, all original except 6 volt has been converted to 12 volt.

The price is good, but the exact model is less clear. It is listed as a 1944 GPW, but has a mix of different body parts.

From the inside this body appears to have the tool indents. It has the three data plates, too. It could be a VEC.
