I thought this was unusual. I don’t know anything about stamps.

“This is a nice detailed Original Stamp showing a Historic Scene: PRESIDENT FRANKLIN-DELANOR – ROOSEVELT REVIEWING U.S. TROOPS IN LIBERIA IN 1943.

RIDING IN A WWII MILITARY WILLY’S MB or FORD GPW JEEP. This 67 Year old Stamp is unused and is in MINT Condition.

This is the first time in the World by any Nation to show the mighty Jeep on a official Postage Stamp.

The Country of LIBERIA Honored President Roosevelt Death with this Special Stamp.

This COMMERATIVE Stamp was also issued in a 3 cent (PURPLE) and a 70 cent (BROWN) version that I have on ebay now!

“THIS IS A 1960 WILLYS FORWARD CONTROL JEEP PICKUP TRUCK. IT WAS RESTORED ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO, AND IS SHOWING SOME SIGNS OF NEEDING SOME FRESHENING UP. IT LOOKS LIKE NEW FROM 15 FEET, BUT THERE IS SOME BUBBLING AND CRACKING HERE AND THERE IN THE PAINT. THE MILEAGE WAS SET BACK TO ZERO WHEN IT WAS RESTORED. THE INTERIOR IS REALLY NICE AND SO IS THE BED. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL WEIGHT ON THE FRAME. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE IS COMPLETE AND WORKING. IT RUNS AND DRIVES BUT NEEDS A TUNE UP. I HAVE ORDERED THE PARTS AND SHOULD HAVE THEM, BEFORE THE END OF THIS AUCTION. I WILL ADD SOME MORE PICTURES IN A DAY OR TWO. PLEASE DON’T ASK ABOUT THE RESERVE, IT’S LOW. There’s some value here.  Engine & Tranny rebuilt.

“This is a 1955 CJ5 that was a project of mine. I have restored the chassis to a rolling frame and have yet to assemble the body. Over time I have wanted to finish this project however I have moved away from it and I have most if not more than all of the pieces to complete it. The Enginge and Trans have been completely disassembled and rebuilt. There are new brakes, e-brake, premium warn locking hubs, shocks,rebuilt carb and starter, also the generator has been replaced with a gm one wire alternator, rebuilt radiator, and this list goes on. I have invested over 4 Thousand dollars into this project and now it must go. Feel free to ask any questions as I will answer them as quickly as possible. Thanks.”
