About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

The EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation — on whose board Craig Newmark sits) reported today that Craigslist has withdrawn the portion of its Terms of Use that required posters give Craigslist an exclusive license to their content. While it was just a matter of time before this happened, it is still a relief to anyone who uses Craigslist to see it done.
David sent this image showing a delivery of DJ-3As. It was printed in “Willys News” in January, 1957. I need to get my hands on some more copies of Willys News.
After searching around the NY area, Wayne finally spotted a wagon he wanted. Here’s a pic of it.
Wayne writes, “I am spreading the Willys disease; here is my 16 year old son and his friend after a canoe trip. The jeep gets used as a backdrop for quite a few pics around here.”
There is still a little work to be done on this project.

“I have been in the process of getting this jeep restarted. It has a good engine which turns over well with the new starter and battery. It has new plugs, wires, distributor, voltage regulator and a completely rebuilt carburetor. Tow bar, whole drivetrain (both axles, tranny, transfer case & drive shafts appears in good condition. Front Grille and body is good rear body is rough. I own an automotive shop and don’t have the extra time to spend continuing this project. I’d like to find a good home for it. It has original radiator, oil filter housing, air cleaner (oil bath). It has a new key start switch and coil. Email me with any questions. $1100 or best offer. I have over $1500 in it. Thanks for Looking!”
