About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
This looks like a good price, depending on the work that’s needed.
“1947 Jeep willys station wagon. 2 wheel drive, power steering, 289 ford with c4 tranny. Runs and drives but needs work. Good body, good glass. In person transactions only. ”
I’m not sure if this has been available for sale previously or not.
“I am selling one of my projects. Very restorable WW2 jeep. The body is straight with the usual rust through in the hat channels and the fuel tank sump. The drive train is all original and complete. The frame is straight and solid, no rust throughs or breaks. The engine is a ’45 not sure if it’s the original. Email me for serial numbers. Now for the negatives. There is no title. I will provide a bill of sale. There are no seats. The one in the pictures goes to a GPW and is not included in the sale. Someone has cut the fire wall probably for a bigger engine. The jeep is not running but the engine does turn over. I can deliver to Phoenix at the Papago show on January 30th. Email me for more info and pictures. Asking $2500.”

“I have a 1951 willys jeep i am going to sell, it is in good shape, it has the bigger front end and rear end in it, newer tires and wheels, bigger 4 clyinder motor, it has a new tune up including points, spark plug wires cap, oil change and carb rebuild, but the carb stills needs to be adjusted, it would make a fun toy, it still needs misc stuff and tlc but overall in good shape, it is a off road toy, i have california title for the jeep, the guy i got it from must of took the vin off the fire wall, but i have the title so it would have to go to dmv and get it figured out to get plates unless you were just going to make it a trail rig, i have a bill of sale from the other guy he never got it switched into his name either, i am firm on the price 503-559-2602”

Thanks to Robert for providing me a good link into the Library of Congress for these and many other pics to be displayed later.
By all accounts a life long artist, Howard Brodie has captured sports figures, war events, legal battles and more with his drawing talents. He sketched his way through several wars, from World War II in Guadacanal, the Battle of the Bulge and more, to Korea, French Indochina, and Vietnam. As best I can tell, he is still alive and, hopefully, drawing at his home in San Miguel, California. He is currently being featured by PBS as part of a series called They Drew Fire, Combat Artists of World War II.

No price listed on the two tires. The cage and front shell seem like a good price.
