About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Titled as a 1944 Ford GPW but im not exactly sure what it is. I’ve been told the frame and below are from a CJ-5, that it has SBC 350, muncie 4 speed, dana 20 transfercase, centered dana 44 rear Dana 30 front. I bought it in May and only drove it a few times, wanted to keep it for EJS but I’d rather put funds into my Willys Wagon. In Spanish Fork under a cover. 5000 obo”

“This is an Army 1952 Jeep Willys. 24 Volt (2 batteries). I did originally drive it but it now has a head gasket problem beyond my ability to repair. I’m a 26 year vet who was hoping to drive this jeep and enjoy past memories. It needs a mechanics touch. I will add more information and pictures shortly as it also comes with a army trailer, doors and top, roll bar, a metal rack that slides into the trailer hitch, chains, and a variety of other accessories i.e. (heater) etc. Serious buyers only please/cash sale (I have the title). If cashier’s check, then buyer will accompany seller to a local bank to make the deposit”
“This 1947 Willys-Overland pickup painted in Arctic Grey is one of approximately 2,500 manufactured in 1947. The truck is powered by a L6-226 Super Hurricane engine that runs beautifully. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12V by a previous owner. A refurbishment by the current owner started in January 2021 after being purchased in Arizona and was completed in November 2022. The work included rust proofing underbody and frame, applying bedliner finish, new fuel tank, sending unit and line, fuel pump, aluminum radiator, thermostat, engine and heater hoses, water pump, belt, points, plugs, wires, carburetor rebuild, paint, professional tune-up and oil/filter change. Equipment includes a custom rear bumper/hitch, a heater/defroster, 5-gallon side-mounted gas can and a side-mounted spare. This pickup is offered with a service manual, receipts for work performed and parts, vintage AZ license plate, car cover and a clean Washington title.”
Mike spotted this CJ-5. The body is in pretty good shape for a PA body. However, this does not have a title, so keep that in mind with PA DMV rules. It has a Kelly Manufacturing hardtop.
“Up forsale is a 1969 cj-5 v6 dauntless 3 speed 4×4 This is a great restoration project. Or mechanically get it going and rock the patina. This Jeep spins over and the trans runs through all the gear with a tight shift Patern. No title $2500. Look closely at the back is the tub and how dent/ rot free this tub is. It’s not a rotted mess like most of these cj-5’s are. Also. Has rare and highly sought after wide wheels.”
“A real Hurst Jeepster. It is complete with title. I am the second owner. I have it apart right now to restore. Life has got in the way and I have bills that need my attention, Own one of only 300 know to still be around. Buick V-6 and turbo 400 trans. Hurst dual gate shifter, Tach in hood scope. All parts are in the Jeep.”
Bill shared this solid appearing CJ-5. It’s formerly from Colorado, but being auctioned by what looks to be a non-profit (that accepts donations). It starts, but stalls. It’s been updated to a V8 and a different transmission of some kind. The seller hasn’t confirmed whether there are DMV fees on this, so I would recommend contacting the DMV to see if you can determine if that’s the case.
