Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling my 1953 Willys CJ3B. The price is listed fair and I am firm on it. I purchased for close to what I am listing it for and I have purchased alot of new parts for it, so I dont feel out of line asking what I am asking for it. No pics provided. I did a search for 6-wheeled trucks, but didn’t find any.
“While I was stationed at Millington in 1978 I helped a local man build a six wheel Willys Pickup truck. We lengthened the truck and added a second rear axle. I recently bought a 1950 Willys truck to restore and I am trying to get in touched with the owner of the truck I helped build. I would like to get some pictures of the work we did to this truck.”
The buyer is looking for a specific truck that was in the family.
“I am looking for a 1962 Willys pickup that looks similar to the one in the photos seen here. My grandfather purchased it new and drove it everyday until 1994.
