These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a small pile of NOS Willys parts ranging from the 1940’s to 1950’s. there are a total of 66 different part numbers , and 225 plus total parts by count. also included are 5 parts catalogs . “1961 Willys jeep,starts and runs good.Jeep has no brakes and lots of rust!!Repeat lots of rust !!!Frame is solid but body is very rusty! It was on my farm for years and I do not have a title or registration for it! Did I say it was rusty? 1500.00 or best offer or trade”
“This Willys CJ3B is mostly original except for the engine, which is a rebuilt 231 V6 that runs great. It has a T90 three speed transmission and Dana 18 transfer case. One downside is that the transmission needs some work . The tires are in good shape and the stock axles have 5:38 gears. The body is in very good condition as is the windshield glass. This is a good, solid project with a lot of potential that already has a good start — mostly just needs some tinkering. Don’t really need to sell , but don’t have the time for it, and maybe someone else can enjoy this old gem.”
“I HAVE THIS 1952 M38 MILITARY JEEP FOR SALE. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL ALUMINUM WINTER TOP WITH DATA PLATE, ORIGINAL MC ENGINE, RADIATOR. BRAKES DO NOT WORK. THE ENGINE RUNS WITH NO SMOKE BUT HAS A RATTLE FROM THE TAPPETS. I DO HAVE A CLEAR TITLE FOR THIS JEEP. I CAN SEND MORE PICTURES UPON REQUEST.”
“Have a 1947 Willys CJ2A up for grabs. It’s a bit of a project, but a LOT better than some of these you find.
First off, the carburetor is fouled up so it will not start. It cranks find, but will not fire. If this is an issue, close the ad.

This Jeep needs finishing, but not a ton. The body is straight, with only surface rust in a few places. Mostly chrome trim.
The Lockers, Winch, and tires are worth most of my asking price.

The outside looks nice. The engine could compartment could use some cleaning.

“I have a complete brand new fiberglass willys jeep body. I had extra re-inforcement in key areas by a fiblerglass shop, and also had them stretch it to allow room for rear seats (I have kids) Anyways the project got scrapped for another. I have 3k into this body. It has been notched to allow a small block chevy to fit in the engine bay. Also had reinforcement but more for the looks the inside is fitted with aluminum diamond plate and the outter body has tread plate accents.”

“1950 Willys Jeepster; only 5836 produced; owned since 1965; 75,000 original miles; recently converted to 12 volt system including new starter, generator, and battery; original tires have been recapped; convertible top is functional and includes side and rear curtains; excellent restoration project; runs and can be driven home.”
