Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I ran across this pedal jeep today. I looked through some of the pedal cars at the CJ-3B Page, but didn’t see anything similar. Anyone know what kind it is?

“1951 Willys Overland Wagon. 265 Chevy V8 3spd 4X4. It does need restoration but is very complete. Runs and Drives but not on the road. Fenders, Front Bumper, And Tail Gate are off but included. It will need to be trailerd.. $ 2500.00 Firm. Or Possible trade on a New or fresh 350 Chevy motor plus cash”

“Just found out I am moving, if this does not sell by the end of the month I will take it to the scrap yard and avoid another month of fees on storage. Come load it up take it home. have about 2 dozen more pictures. I Have a WWII production, late model 1941 willys MB, not a first production with a slat grill.
-T 84 transmission
-dana 18 transfer case
-Dana 25 front axle
-Dana 27 rear axle
The previous owners put a v8 and cherry bomb exhaust in it and ran it like that. The motor is junk. The body needs work but Kaiserwillys . com sells new body panels and full tubs for what you want to replace. The floors are rotted through but the side panels fenders, hood and frame are solid. Someone welded around the bed and put a roll bar on for hunting purposes. Rims are solid not split. This would be a good for restore if you wanted to put it back to original, but when completed a 1942 MB goes for about $22,000 on average as most that hit the streets in the US were battle damaged. Or if you wanted just to get it running with a new engine and seats and take it trailer riding. This is a WWII military piece of history and I cannot bring myself to junk it. BUT I could sell the frame, transmission, transfer case and axles and scrap the rest and make $800, I just don’t have the time to put into the restore while working 60-70 hours a week. I was going to put a 1.6l VW diesel engine in it and run it around town… I have that for sale as well on another ad. “hi – i normally dont sell jeep parts but i bought some vintage jeep parts for my own project and got these really neat vintage hubs too and i dont think i will ever use them – so here they are.
these i believe were called ” summer-time ” hubs that were installed on the front of many old 4×4 jeeps for when either the jeep was going to be towed or for when the weather was nice and you werent going to use 4wd for a while – these hubs here just have bearings inside of them and were sold in the 1950s at dealerships from what the former jeep employee had told me.
these are really neat and the insides were still clean and greasy so theres no rust or damage to the needle bearings and theres no cracks or anything bad about these. they could still use some cleaning on the outsides and maybe some polishing to make them look real shiny again but they dont look too bad right now.”

This is an odd truck
“Was last regestered in 2001 as a 1950. It’s got a super hurracane 6 cylinder in it that runs good. hi and low range trans. 4-wheel drive works. great for farm, ranch, deer lease
