“40’s model dj-2a flatfender willys jeep. complete body (tub is pretty rusty but fenders and grill are in pretty good shape). flathead 4cyl engine (disassembled but complete, comes with new clutch and pressure plate). frame and axles all still together.”

“This jeep has been the family for over 50 years. The original 4 cylinder engine has 47,000 miles on it and runs great. It has the standard 3 speed manual transmission, transfer case with high and low range, 4 wheel drive, and lock out hubs. The soft top and tires are new. The 6 foot plow and a full size cover are included with the jeep. It has the original 6 volt system including lights, gauges, generator, and battery. I also added a 12 volt battery connected directly to the starter for easy starting even on the coldest winter days. This jeep has been well cared for and maintained over the years.”
Well, at least it runs …
“1946 Willys Jeep, Flathead Head 4 cyl engine, manual trans, full time front 4wd axle, the engine runs but needs overhauled. The brakes need work. The body is rusted but the frame is in good shape. It has been converted to 12 volts. Also includes an extra set of original style tires.”

“Up for sale is my CJ3B I picked up as a restore project. Runs great, only reason for selling is i’m looking for a jeep with a little newer features/more power. Completely redone brake system, new drums, cylinders, shoes, some lines, hoses, master cylinder. Hi performance intake filter recently put in. New optima battery w/ basically comepletely redone wiring and cables. Working horn. Working Wipers. Custom soft top, 265 tires (about 31’s). Jeep also has bedliner sprayed in to help water seal, as well as new racing seats and harnesses. New gas tank, full roll cage. Just went through Delaware inspection , good for 2 years….”
“rebuilt 231 v-6. 331 gears, front disk brakes, new paint and interior, new glass, runs and looks great. 4 wheel drive works good.”
This looks like it has a nice, vintage top. The rest of the jeep looks in good shape, too.
“1946 Jeep Willys. Small block V8. New muffler, alternator, wiring, lift – all professionally done.
Newer tires. Ultimate hunting vehicle.”
I doubt it will fetch the ‘buy it now price’ of $5400. And, it has plenty of rust and dents that will require some work to remove, however there’s a lot to like about it. Lots of pics on eBay.
“The current owner has owned this jeep for 25 years and it has 61,504 original miles. Fifteen years ago, the owner and his late wife took a road trip from Urbana, Illinois down to Cairo, Illinois and back up through Kentucky and Ohio. It ran perfectly the whole way. When the jeep was purchased in 1984 the title was in both the owner and his wife’s name and was re-issued in 1998 in his name only after his wife passed away…”
