These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have 2 Willys CJ2A jeeps…. Both have been sitting for 20 years… They both have complete drive trains , and mostly complete bodies… The bodies are very rough though and these jeeps are best suited as parts donors… I want to move these so I am asking $300 each , or both for $550.. “1946 CJ2A for sale. Virtually complete. Stock engine, transmission, tcase and 6v electrical system in place. Has non-stock rims and 33″ tires. Two tires hold air just fine, one holds air for a bit, one is destroyed. I’ll be removing the seats and the stock rim/tire before a sale. Willing to provide more photos and info if you’re interested.”
“This is a 1951 M38 Willys Jeep. Originally built for the US Military, it was sold as surplus in 1963, still unused in its wooden crate.It was bought by a family who converted it back then, to a GM V6 Fireball engine, free wheeling front hubs, and GM truck front brakes. It was used by this family for the next 46 years as a hunting vehicle. I bought it 3 years ago with 7,500 miles on the clock, which may or may not be accurate. I have added 2,000 miles since then.
I have had the vehicle completely restored during the 3 years, and just about everything has been either renovated, replaced or repaired. EVERYTHING! I use it as my local daily driver, and it has always been a hoot to drive, with about 160 hp instead of 65 hp. Everything works perfectly. It has a complete all weather Beechwood cover as well. It also has a towing bar.
It has been welcomed in all the 4th July parades and gets more attention at car gatherings than Ferraris’!
It is not 100% original, but it does look the part, and everyone smiles when they see it. You can even invade small countries at the weekend with it.
There is a reserve on it, equal to about what I have invested in it during my ownership, but I will not disclose this, so please do not ask.
Obviously there is no warranty, implied or otherwise, and I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.”

“1966 CJ5. Jeep Kaiser/ Willys frame off restoration great shape. I just don’t drive it. In 1966 they did all the best things to the Jeeps. Because the old flat head was so weak Jeep added the Buick Dauntless V6. Tons of power and able to handle any road. The tires have less than 100 miles on them. If your are into classic jeeps this is the one for you!”
I assume the stamped parts have a “F” rather than a “GPW”.
“The vehicle has been restored from the frame up. I have paperwork on the parts that are stamped with the “GPW” all other parts are after market. The jeep is in very good condition with the low mileage of 200 miles. I had a replica 50 caliber flame thrower made by the manufacturer who made the props for the movie “saving private ryan” this included in the deal. The price list below lists the items replaced and the cost.”
