This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This was a great Willys jeep until I was t-boned and it rolled. Now it needs a new body to be great again. It will run and drive as far as I can tell. The frame is fine. The price is open. I’ll take the best offer. Jeep had NO RUST on it prior to the Feb. 28 2010 accident. Email julyheep@gmail.com with any questions. Open to trades but NO UGLY JUNK.”

Unclear if the PTO is a front or back unit.
“Unmolested, never modified, 1948 willys a ranch find, parked outside since 1980, original luzon red color, and rusty, desireable PTO, w/PTO shifter in place, original 4 cyl flathead, not running, motor complete except for Oil filter, go figure?? 15 inch Willys wheels with aired up tires, floor rust through replaced with galvanized long ago, good original seat frames, A frame tow bar, it’s r rollable, I towed it home. Have 1969 Title. more pics upon request.”

“This is a work in progress that I must sell due to personal situation….Body and Frame sitting on TJ Coils. Does not have any drivetrain or suspension. Body is primered. I was not going to restore it to the original look, therefore it is half purple with a purple roll bar. Welded in a diamond plate floor. I don’t have the rubicon wheels that are in the pic.”

This is a mix of a MB and CJ-2A parts.
“THIS APPEARS TO BE A CJ2A CHASSIS WITH AN EARLY CONTRACT WILLYS OVERLAND BODY. NOT RUNNING, BUT MOTOR TURNS WITH CRANK. GARAGED SINCE EARLY 80’S. BODY EXCELLANT NOT RUSTED THROUGH ANYWHERE! THERE ARE NICKS AND CHIPS WITH SOME RUST , BUT NOTHING DAMAGING. WINDSHIELD GLASS AND FRAME INTACT, MINT FRAME, SEAT FRAMES GOOD , NO ROT, FUEL TANK DOESN’T LEAK, NEEDS CLEAN OUT AND BOILING, BUMPERS GOOD, GRILL GOOD, FENDERS GOOD, HOOD MINT, TOP FRAME BOWS AND HARDWARE ALL THERE AND GOOD .STEERING WHEEL ORIGINAL AND GOOD. The passenger side looks like it has seen some body work near where the drains holes should be.
“1948 CJ2a. Original flat head 4 engine. Converted from generator to alternator, and from 6volt to 12volt system. All original undercarriage and drive train. Original T-90 split transmission and transfer case. Tires are not original. Was a daily driver. Has been repainted at some time. All 4wd works Bought here locally from a Vietnam vet. With minimal effort and expense this jeep could be restored to original condition or they could be easily made into river rods. Very collectable.
