This CJ-2A has been highly modified. It sounds like a pretty good jeeping jeep.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A. Frame off rebuild, everything new- body sandblasted, repainted. tube front fenders widened 3′ over stock. New poly bucket seats. 2×4 rec. Rec. tube chassis, new YJ springs outboarded, Dana 44 front and rear Wagoneer axles with new 4.56 gears/Powerlocks front/rear. Saginaw steering. New 4.3 Chevy V6, rebuilt stock with Edelbrock intake and carb. SM420 4 speed with Novak adapter to a Dana 20/18 hybrid. New Q78-15 (35”) Super Swampers on Chevy Rally wheels. New plates and tags. “
Below is Troy’s street and trail CJ-3A. It’s been modified in a variety of ways, including a Dana 60 in the back, a Dana 44 in the front and lockers all around. Troy buys and sells stainless steel in the Northwest and is trying to decide whether to start adding more stainless steel or not to this jeep. His biggest concern is if he starts dressing it up too nice, he’ll be too afraid to bring it out to the trails. If this jeep does start growing stainless steel fenders, I doubt he’ll suffer too much as Troy will still have an opportunity to get dirty playing in his flat fender racing jeep that he calls “Twisted”.

“This is a 1952 Willys GPW M38. It has been completely disassembled and rebuilt and restored from the ground up. Everthing on or in this Jeep has ethier been rebuilt or replaced. The engine was rebuilt in the process. Everthing works as it should including all the gauges. The top and all the upholstery is new…..”
While I’ve managed not to finish my treatise on jeepneys — the draft form of which includes what a person needs to do to import a jeepney and the prices of some older ones — I really don’t believe this is a 1942 Jeepney. Even if there are parts leftover from said 1942 jeep, most of the rest of the jeepney looks more like a later model jeepney (though it is not like the latest models). Here’s a little more about Jeepneys. If the seller reads this and wishes to correct me, please contact me.

The Jeepney were constructed from US military jeep left over from World War II, This jeepney was constructed by a company named Sarao Motors,the sarao motor company lengthened wheel base added roofs,side curtains,fender skirts and more, they also painted them in vibrant colors and covered them with bright chrome ornaments,”
