Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Antique Army Jeep, WW2 vintage, either a ’45 or ’47 . I have a title. Lots of rust. In need of restoration. Has set outside for about the last 10 years, and I realize my dream to restore it has passed. I have a spare motor, which is included. $1600.”

“This was a great Willys jeep until I was t-boned and it rolled. Now it needs a new body to be great again. It will run and drive as far as I can tell. The frame is fine. The price is open. I’ll take the best offer. Jeep had NO RUST on it prior to the Feb. 28 2010 accident. Email julyheep@gmail.com with any questions. Open to trades but NO UGLY JUNK.”

Unclear if the PTO is a front or back unit.
“Unmolested, never modified, 1948 willys a ranch find, parked outside since 1980, original luzon red color, and rusty, desireable PTO, w/PTO shifter in place, original 4 cyl flathead, not running, motor complete except for Oil filter, go figure?? 15 inch Willys wheels with aired up tires, floor rust through replaced with galvanized long ago, good original seat frames, A frame tow bar, it’s r rollable, I towed it home. Have 1969 Title. more pics upon request.”
