These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks to be a pre-Tornado truck with a Tornado engine?

“Project 1949 willys cj3a jeep. From South Dakota. Pretty solid project. Will need work overall. Flathead 4 cyl Engine which is free and will turn over. Very original willys with a good title. Body has its flaws, floors been patched, frame is absolutely Perfect. Factory front and rear axle. Aftermarket wheels. Can help load on trailer. $3,000. Title in hand. Don’t need to sell, will keep for a winter project if I can’t get 3k.”

‘I have a 1961 jeep fc 150. It has a straight 4 chevy engine in it. The head does seem to be cracked… coolant has gotten into the oil I have no time to fix and could use to the money to build my house. I have the title in hand.”

Jack shared a couple photos from the 2022 Idaho Vintage Jeep Rally. He told me he had a great time! The funky oddball jeep on the trailer is one owned by Jack. He acquired it out of Montana about a decade ago.
