Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This includes an overdrive. It runs and drives. Looks like a good deal.
“For Sale: 1965 Jeep CJ5. 4 cly engine, 3spd trans with overdrive and high low range. Tires are slightly checked but new tread. Jeep has been stored for several years but starts and runs, could use carb clean etc but idles fine. Was owned by same guy for thirty yrs before we bought it. Rust in usual places.”
