1945 MB Costa Mesa, CA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: MB This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.

The engine isn’t original.

“Running and driving WW II Army Jeep. It has a Jeep four cylinder engine but not the original flat head. The brakes need work. The body has rust and will require repair if it is to be restored to as new condition. Still has its original identification tags affixed to it and has a California title. The Ramsey winch works. This is a project and is priced accordingly, if you’re looking for a mint condition Jeep then this is not the one for you.”

1947 CJ-2A Arvada, Co **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ-2A This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1600

“This Jeep was given to me by a friend who’s grandfather died and left it to him. He lost the title so it only comes with a bill of sale. The granddad has owned it for many many years.
It sure not perfect and won’t win any beauty contests but he did have it running and driving about 2 years ago. As far as I can tell it’s pretty much complete and original and for the most part un-molested. This jeep is 65 years old so I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way-now that having been said I can’t imagine a better project jeep for the price. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was no Price

If I interpret this ad correctly, this was a $40k present for his son (I have lots of thoughts here I think I will keep them to myself –btw, Medina is where Bill Gates built his 66,000 sqft house, so if this seller lives in Medina, I suspect he didn’t blink spending $40k on a jeep).  I’m not sure what the price on this is, but the reason for selling it is very funny: A16th birthday present for my son, wife said no, wife is hott, jeeps gotta go:(

This jeep had a frame up restoration and everything is either new or rebuilt. Some of the items include- fresh rebuild on L134 4 cylinder flat head motor, 3 speed over drive transimission, T-90 special transimission, front disc brakes, tires and wheels, full roll cage and nerf bars all tied to the frame, new interior, sterring wheel and column by Flaming River, stereo, front and rear speakers, gauges, indicator lights, and turn signals, heater, cb/pa and antenna, custopm bumbers, custom swing out spare and hilift rack, new top, doors, bimi, spare and hi lift custom covers, piaa fog lights front and rear, piaa horn, optima yellow top deep cycle battery, line lock brake system (like on dragsters) Viper security system, Tuffy Security Products center consul stereo compartment. Entire jeep is flat rattle can black, has never been off road and has less then 500 miles on it. Roberts Armory Traveling Museum Rochelle, Il

• CATEGORIES: Features, Museums • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Roberts Armory is a traveling museum located in Rochelle, Illinois.

According to their website, the museum “specializes in the acquisition and display of light armored vehicles and artillery used by the U.S. Army in World War II. During World War II reenactments the museum usually portrays the 70th Tank Battalion. The museum participates in WWII related displays, parades, motion pictures and reenactments throughout the United States.”

Roberts Armory has also been asked to participate in movies and shows.  Though Roberts appears to have a facility, unlike traditional museums, Roberts is only open for visitation on special days or by special appointment.

While Roberts only appears to have one 1945 MB, they do have a few different outfits for it.

1. Here it is with and without a top.

2.  Here it is with the 50 Cal gun mounted.

3.  Here it is in full armor.
